chapter.2

I was currently in my room playing my baby blue fender guitar and playing to 'Brooklyn baby' by Lana Del Rey until I heard my mom calling my name from downstairs "COMING!!"  I yelled back and put my guitar on my bed and headed downstairs

"Yeah?" I said to my mom "I got the email" she said referring to the one if I got the part or not "and?" I said questioning if I had got the part or not "well I haven't looked at it yet" "well can you open it I don't want to" I said scared if I didn't get the part "yea" she said opening it "it says y/n we are sorry to say" "oh god I didn't make it" "BUT YOU GOT THE PART!!" "HOLY SHIT" "y/n language" "oh yea sorry" "they said that they want you to meet them at 2:30 today, to meet everyone else you'll be working with," my mom said reading from her computer "well what time is it now" "uh it's 1:00 now so go get ready" and with that, I headed upstairs to get ready

^^what you wore if you don't like it chose any snazzy outfit you would wear and do your hair how you would do it

I looked at the clock 1:45 I put on a pair of shoes and headed downstairs and grabbed my car keys "you sure you don't want me to drive and come with" "oh no I'm fine but I love you mom" I said giving her a kiss on the cheek "okay sweetie, I love you too" and with that, I was headed out the door

I turned on some music and my favorite song came on "someday" by the strokes I love this band a lot, I soon started singing the lyrics and driving to the studio I couldn't wait to meet who I'd be working with a good thing I lived close to it once I got there I parked my car in an empty spot and headed towards the studio and opened the double doors and went to the front desk "hello and who are you" "oh hi I'm y/n" she looked at the computer "okay just go down that hall and take a right, and you quite a bit early" "oh yeah, and thank you"

Then I headed down the hall and took a right into quite a big room and looked for my name on the card that was played out for us to know where to sit I decided to look at everyone else's Barbra, Mackenzie, Brooklyn, Finn wait is that the same kid I met when I took the audition hmm idk and then me I sat at the table no one was in the room just me so I decided to get on my phone and write some lyrics for a song I was currently working on I heard footsteps come into the room along with a giggle of a child so I looked up and seen a young girl about 7 or 8 years of age "oh hello I'm Brooklynn" "oh nice to meet you I'm y/n" "y/n I like it" she said smiling at me "aww thank you I like yours too" "thanks" she said getting up in her seat

"So who do you play," I said turning off my phone and facing the screen towards the table "oh I play Flora....who do you play" "oh uh I play Addison" "oh cool, I cant wait for everyone else to come," she said fidgeting with her fingers "yeah me too, so have you been in any other movies" "yeah I have I recently was in a movie called "the Florida project" "wait really I loved that movie" "yeah," she said laughing

Soon I heard another pair of footsteps this time two sets me and Brooklyn jerked our heads to see two women one young but older than me and another woman very much older than the other women "oh hello you guys" the younger lady said "hello" I and Brooklynn said at the same time "I'm Mackenzie" "and I'm Barbra" "y/n" "Brooklynn" they both took a seat at the table and began to talk to each other so I decided to talk to Brooklynn until finn and the director come

"Hey Brooklynn wanna talk until the others come back" "yea sure" "so what are the things you like to do," I asked her smiling down at the small girl "hmm," she said tapping her chin as in a way of thinking "I like to play with my dolls and play with my friends" "that sounds awesome" "what do you like to do," she said looking up at me "uh I like to read, write, write music, play guitar, and skateboard," I said to her "wow that's cool I like guitars" "maybe one of these days I could play you something" "really" "yeah of course" "yay," she said smiling

"Hello guys," said the lady that I had auditioned for "hello" we all replied back "Ahh I see we're missing someone" it was currently 2:15 this kid should be here as if on cue someone came walking in "oh I'm sorry traffic was terrible and I had to stop by somewhere and pick up my guitar" "ah okay well take a seat," she said to him and he took his seat beside me "oh hey y/n right," he said in a whisper tone "oh yea that's me finn right" "yea nice to see you again" "you too," I said replying back to him

"Hello I'm Floria Sigismondi and I'm going to be the director of the film the turning as you are all cast, this movie is about a girl named Addison who is played by y/n and went to a boarding school and ended up smashing students head into the mirror in the bathroom and is a little bit of a psychopath and she has to go back to her mom Kate who is played by Mackenzie who is also the nanny and Miles who is played by Finn thinks he can scare Addison but he soon finds out she's just as much as a psychopath as him and little Flora played by Brooklynn plays miles little sister and becomes very close to Addison so, for now, I want y/n and Finn to practice together Brooklynn, Mackenzie, and Barbra you all work together and get to know one another"

And with that, I got up and asked Finn "hey do you want to go to a separate room, so uh you know not as much noise over us" "uh yeah sounds good just let me get my guitar and we can make our way to the other room" "okay" was all I replied back with he got his stuff and said "alright let's go" I just smiled and walked to the room over

He placed all his stuff down and sat down on the couch that was is the room and me following his actions and sitting down next to him but leaving space between us "so how about we talk about our hobbies" I asked him "yeah sure, well I live to act, sing, write music, play guitar and drums, oh and I also skate" i began to laugh and started talking saying "you sound a bit like me" "really what are your hobbies" "I like to act,write,write music,I also play guitar,and I skate too" "wow we do sound alot alike" he said laughing "oh could you play something real quick on my guitar" he asked "uh yea sure" he got up and took his guitar out of the case and handed it to me "dude I love yours I have the same one just in baby blue,but I definitely want a black one" I started strumming the guitar and began to play "freaking out the neighborhood" and he began to sing the lyrics to the song "you like mac DeMarco too" I said looking up at him and stopped playing his guitar "oh uh yea do you" "yes he's like a walking god I would kill to see that man live at concert" "I've been to a couple of his concerts before" "lucky" I said smiling at him

Thank god we didn't have to do the reading today that was for tomorrow that day was just me getting to know Finn and the others I think this is going to be a great cast to work with

A/n I just wanted to say that I will be changing some of the things so it won't be like the movie entirely but it will still have parts that the movie has in here this is a bit of a longer chapter so I hope you like it <3
And if any spelling mistakes I will fix them later but for now don't mind them
