Meanwhile, at the pep rally which was being held in the school gymnasium, Principal Deedle stepped up to a mic on the stage.
"And now, it is my great pleasure to introduce those cray cats of Eerie County." Deedle started
IN THE HALLWAY
Meanwhile, Fred, Velma, Daphne, Shaggy, and Ruby were running for their lives from the ghosts.
AT THE PEP RALLY
"....The Coolsville Cougars!" Deedle finished
However, Shaggy was the one who busted through the sign that was held in front of the doors making everyone confused.
"Go Cougars." Shaggy said
Fred and Ruby were the next ones out followed by Velma and Daphne.
"Run!!! Everybody run!!!" Fred shouted
The two ghosts then came through the hole and that's what got everyone to run. The lights started flickering on and off. The students tried to get out but whenever they would get to a door, the doors would lock and slam shut. Eventually, all the students were all in front of the stage. Things seemed to have cooled down. But then an explosion was heard and everyone turned to the stage as there was an eerie green glow and mechanical laughter. It was what is called The Specter of Coolsville High that was on the stage.

"Students of Coolsville High, leave this place now, or pay for all eternity!" The Specter said in a booming voice
Shaggy tried to walk off but Daphne grabbed his shirt and pulled him back.
"Whoever chooses to remain here will be doomed. Hear me? Doomed!!" The Specter said as he laughed menichally and there was another mall puff of smoke and explosion on the stage and the lights went out again
The lights came back on and the doors swung back open. Everyone went running out of the school in a panic.
"Single file. Single file, please. Everyone-no!" Deedle started trying to control the crowd. "Fire drill procedures, please. Everyone, just calm down. The late buses will be here soon and....well, I guess we should consider cancelling classes tomorrow."
"What? Cancel classes?" Grimes started. "With all due respect sir, I strongly disagree."
"But I-" Deedle started
"It's obvious what's going on around here. Clearly, we've been made victims of some sort of prank." Grimes intercepted
"But why would GHOSTS pull a prank??" Deedle asked
"There are no ghosts. This is all a hoax perpetrated by a group of students with an ax to grind." Grimes further stated as Velma, Shaggy, Daphne, Ruby, and Fred came running out and he turned to them. "Them!"
"But we were in detention!" Fred protested
"Exactly. You were the only ones not at the pep rally, giving you opportunity on top of motive!" Grimes said. "It gives me great pleasure to inform you that you no longer have detentions."
The group sighed in relief.
"Because now you're all suspended!" Grimes added
Everyone jumped back a bit from the yelling.
"Suspended?? But won't that go on our permanent records?" Velma asked
"I'll make sure of it." Grimes said as he stepped inside. "No running!" he told the students who were running
"Grimes, we really must discuss this." Deedle said as he followed Grimes.
"Suspended? What am I gonna tell my parents?" Daphne said
"At least you all still have both of your parents." Ruby stated
"Hey, i'm gonna have to run away from home." Fred gave as a possible answer to Daphne's question
"Oh, no, mother. I know you'll believe me when I tell you I did nothing wrong. t was ghosts. Ghosts." Velma gave as another possible answer
"Hey, like, that's what Scooby was saying. Not 'roast', ghost." Shaggy said as he ran up to the others. "Hey, wait up! Like, maybe we don't have to tell our parents. I know someone who can help clear our names." he added as he pointed where Scooby was chained but all he saw was the spot of dirt with the flower on it that Scooby was hiding under
"Scooby Doo, where are you??" Ruby called out
Scooby poked his head out of the dirt and the flower sat straight up on top of his head and he said, "Right here"
"There he is. Handsome little devil, isn't he?" Shaggy said
Fred waved at Scooby and Shaggy and Ruby gave Scooby a couple of thumbs up.
