Chapter I- An urgent matter

{Phoenix POV}

It was a cold windy day and school had just finished. I packed my things and rushed off earlier than usual so I could head home to watch some signal samurai.

But as I was about to approach the sidewalk, Larry suddenly tapped me gently on the shoulder and asked me if I was doing anything this afternoon.

I asked him why he asked and he said he wanted to discuss an urgent matter.

"Can't you just tell me right now??"

"Awh Come on Nick, whats the fun in that?"

Before I could ask any more questions Larry suddenly ran off screaming.

"Meet us at the park around 3:00! Cya Nickk~"

I have no idea whats going on, but I muttered ok and headed on my way.

I guess Ill just watch signal samurai tommorow then..

A few minutes passed and I suddenly caught a glimpse of Edgeworth. I decided to approach him and ask if Larry said the same thing to him too.

"Hey Edgeworth!"

It seemed that he was thinking about something when I approached him, but he then stopped at his tracks and faced me.

"Oh hello Wright."

"Sorry for the weird question but did Larry approach you about something awhile back?"

"Well he did ask me if I was doing something this afternoon which I said no. Then he said he wanted to talk about something urgent if I can recall."

So Larry also told him about this "urgent" thing as well then.

"What do you think its about?"

"He suddenly ran off when I asked him, but knowing Larry Im guessing its going to be something not out of the ordinary."

Larry seems to be always full of bright ideas, I mean everyday he comes up with something new. So I guess Miles assumption might be correct.

"Well I guess we'll just see what Larry has in store this time."

"Yeah I suppose so, well anyway I think we should all be meeting at the park by 3 then. And well knowing Larry he might turn up earlier than usual"

"True, anyway see you later Edgeworth!"

" See you Wright."

After exchanging goodbyes, me and Edgeworth parted ways. My house was just a few blocks away so it only took a short time to get there. It was around 2:40 so I still had some time before meeting Miles and Larry at the park.

But still, I wonder what Larry's planning this time...
