Imagine having to compel Steve to leave you in a crumbling building to save himself.
"Damnit Steve, GO!" Your voice was raw from screaming so urgently, so painfully.
"No!" He screams back just as painful, and that's when you knew what you had to do.
Before he even realize what you were doing, your words put him in a trance, "Leave, departure and never return."
Like a mindless man he did as you said, rising from the floor he turned without a word, but his face said it all.
Within a few seconds he had loaded onto the jet and pulled away from the wreckage that was still falling, small rocks of gravel landing on you and scraping your already abused body.
"It's departured." Steve's voice shocks you but then you realized the earpiece was still connected to his.
A sob threatens to leave your body but you pull off the earpiece and smash it on the floor, not wanting Steve to hear the heartbreaking, sorrowful sobs leaving your throat.
