Captain Levi pilots the Starship Genesis. While exploring a new planet, the crew comes across an android marked with A2 on his cheek. Levi discovers A2, who calls himself Armin, was created by a fellow cadet he thought to be dead. They continue on a quest through the stars to find Hanji and incorporate Armin into the crew where he comes to adore a young lieutenant named Eren Jaeger.
