"Better"

In our next life we could be better
But who can say
We try our hardest to be
"Better" In every way
Because we don't believe
When people say
"Your perfect"
Because our:
Family
Friends
And significant other
Are supposed to make us
"Happy"
But other then them
We are only a few small
Inches of perfect
Compared to the others
We are drowned rats
Because we are not faking
"Perfection"
So as drowned gutter rats
We'll stay
Because that's all we need
And that's that
