2 At Best

One bright day in the middle of the night
Two dead boys got up to fight
Back to back they faced each other
Drew their swords and shot each other
A deaf policeman heard the noise
An ran up to save the two dead boys
If you don't believe me this story's true
Ask the blind man he saw it too

Day to Night
Sun to Moon
Set to rise
High in tides
Running slow
Left behind
Three girls were in snow
Lost in the summer pine
One fell down and broke her spine
Left behind
Two kept walking
She stumbled off the edge
Three was there
Tall and scared
Slowly freezing from the fear
Reported missing
Lost away
On the bay
In the dead of night
