Chapter XIV

"Pst! Hand me your laptop, dali"

"Excuse me? I am not your slave duh." padabog na inilapag ni Louraine ang iniinom na milk tea. Inismiran si Rence.

"Taray ka gurl? Ang damot ha!"

"Maka demand, sana diba nagtanong muna kung pwede mahiram? Saka can you please sound a little kind? Ang bossy eh!"

Louraine rolled her eyes and turn back to Rence. Nasa school cafeteria sila ngayon at pinagtitinginan na sila ng mga tao.

"Ok? Chill." ngiting sabi ni Rence bago umalis. He sounds mad.

Tahimik lang na kumakain sina Rave at Crix at hinayaan ang dalawa.

I decided to see my friends for the last time pero mukhang pababaunan pa nila ako ng away, which is very unusual sa circle of friends namin.

I sighed. Bakit ganito na? Nagbago na yata sila?

"H-he should at least p-pleased me."

Umupo ako sa tabi ni Louraine nang makitang umiiyak ito. Tinignan ko ang mukha nya at halos malusaw ang eye shadow nya dahil sa pag iyak nya.

"I think he's mad, Raine." Rave started to console her.

Atleast their care for each other was this there.

"Ang sungit kasi." dagdag ni Crix kaya lalong napa-iyak si Louraine.

I wish I could hug her too.

"A-alex was g-gone and now, I made Florence mad! Ugh!" dali-dali nitong niligpit ang mga gamit saka nag walk out.

Rave tried to hold her back but she didn't mind turning back.

Great. Looks like I'll go vanish with a broken heart.

Around 2 o'clock in the afternoon when I finally found Florence. Naglalaro ng ML habang nakatambay sa starbucks.

"Crix, mid lane!"

Napansin kong kaharap nya si Crix na abala rin sa phone nya. Huh!?

How did he get in there? Nag ditch din ba ang lalaking 'to!?

Nilapitan ko sila at sinapak si Crix ngunit tumagos lang ako doon. How do I make it!?

Inis akong umupo sa table nila at sinubukang galawin sila pero hindi ko talaga magawa.

Ugh! This is too much!

Mangiyak-ngiyak akong tumingin sa labas since glass naman ang pader nitong shop.

"Fuck! What the hell Louraine!?"

Napabaling ako kay Rence. Galit nitong binagsak ang phone saka binuhusan ng tubig! He's making a mess all over here!

"She's hitting below the belt." ismid ni Crix bago sila tumayo at umalis.

Louraine probably ruined his game with her incoming call. Galit na galit tuloy si Rence.

Oh god how can I fix them?

Sandali akong nag-isip habang nakaupo doon nang biglang dumating si Louraine. Pumunta sa cashier para umorder ng kape nya at agad ring umalis.

Mugto ang mga mata nya so I decided to follow her.

She drove her car into a familiar direction and when we reached the destination, I couldn't help but smiled with my tears falling.

"Hi Justine Alexil Reñigo, how have you been?"

Inilapag nito ang dalang bulaklak sa puntod ko. Nagsindi din s'ya ng tatlong kandila bago naupo at hinawakan ang marmol na kinauukitan ng aking pangalan.

"Ganda talaga ng name mo bitch. Haha!" tumawa ito nang tumulo ng sunod-sunod ang mga luha nya.

"S-shit sorry. Nakakaiyak pangalan m-mo..."

Natawa ako habang patuloy na tumatagas ang mga luha namin.

Louraine was my best friend. Palagi syang nanjan para sa akin. I can vividly remember my first day in school during my kindergarten when she introduced herself on me.

Hindi ako friendly pero yun, may nagka-interes sa akin kahit mukha daw akong masungit dahil palaging tahimik.

She's my very first friend followed by Crix, Rence and Rave.

"I missed you bitch! W-wishing you a happy j-journey through the eternity. I... I l-love you always, you'll forever be alive inside my heart. T-thank you for staying with us, thank you for giving me a chance to met you and to know you even more. Thank you for the days that we shared laughters..." she paused wiping her tears away.

Raine...

"Shared tears and milestones with our studies."

I looked away when she suddenly break down.

This once really hard for the both of us. I almost spend my whole years of existence with her and I could say that saying goodbye with each other will be the worst scene that we could ever do.

"I'm... I'm sorry, I wasn't there d-during the l-last minute of y-you love... Sorry din kasi inaway ko si R-rence. I felt sorry for h-him, 'di ko naman sinasadya eh." she said crying out loud. Natatawa pa ito habang pinupunasan ang mata nya.

"Haha! I'm sorry I looked horrible--"

"Hoy baliw!"

Natulala ako nang makita sina Rence, Rave at Crix na nasa likod ni Louraine.

"Iyak tawa tayo ah? Anong trip m--"

Rence suddenly stopped when Louraine suddenly pulled her neck, giving him a tight hug.

"I'm sorry, I... I was wrong... I'm sorry."

"Tinawagan mo pa ako habang in game kami." pagpapakipot ni Rence.

"I'm sorry na nga..." iyak ni Louraine sa dibdib nito.

Nagkatinginan ang mga boys bago sila sabay-sabay na nagtanguan.

My heart melted the moment I sad them having a group hug.

I couldn't hold back my tears anymore. I cried out of happiness and when they positioned like taking a groupie in my tomb, I rushed and wipe my tears before standing beside Crix.

Sabay-sabay kaming ngumiti bago i-click nung pinakiusapan nilang sepulturero ang captured buttom ng camera.
