♡ 36 - "we ran away"

I swear to god she's making me fuming.
I walked out the hotel, taking in the fresh air of, well, outside the hotel.

"please answer, Katie" I said to myself, still updating my DM's.
I decided to take a walk around the city I've never been in before.

I wonder how long New Jersey is from here.
I checked my maps.

12 hours.
I felt my heart beat faster. I want to go, but mom has my bankcard, I can't just buy a bus-ride for hours, without parent's signature.

I was sitting in front of a lake, giving me flashabacks from when me, Katie, Alejandro and Mattia were sitting at the beach, watching the sunset together.

It was when we all said we never eanted this to end. And it did. I miss them so much I don't even know what to do.

"hello?" a voice said behind me

Mattias pov.

It's been two weeks since I lost her. I have no contact with her. I don't know what happened, I tried to text her. Guess what she answered?

"it's over, I don't think we should have contact again, ever». why would she write that? After that, she deleted me everywhere, including everyone.

My heart is broken. I haven't been myself these past weeks. I miss her so much.
Dad has tried to fix it up between me and him but I don't want to talk to him yet. The boys is trying to get in contact, but im messed up. Katie is sad, too. They were bestfriends.

"son, please eat" my dad said from behind the door.

"no, go away" I yelled at him.

He can't expect me to sit and eat, and act like everything is alright.

The fact that I never get to see her again, and the fact that she told me to never contact her again, is breaking me.

I need to get some fresh air. I got up and stormed out of the house, ignoring my dad asking me where im going.

Your pov.

I turned around and it was an old lady.

"hey sweetie, do you possibly know where the Hotel Fairy is?" she asked. It's the hotel im staying at.

"yes, im staying there aswell. I can follow you if you want to?" I answered.

"oh dear, thank you" she answered and I got up, smiling at her.

"Why are you crying, dear?" She asked after we walked for a little, noticing my red, puffy eyes.

"nothing special, just a little sad" I answered and gave her a light smile. She putted her hand on my shoulder.

"boy, isn't it?" she asked, clearly understanding my situation. I nodded.

"I know your pain, sweetheart. When I was younger, I was madly in love with this man. Our parents didn't allow us to be together. They seperated us, and told us that we couldn't see each other, ever again"the old lady said.

Wow, she kindoff lived the same life im living right now.

"you know, let me buy you a piece of cake and I can tell you the whole story?" she asked. She was sweet and I knew her intention were good, so I nodded and she took me to this fancy bakery.

We sat down at an empty table near the window and orderer each, a piece of chocolate cake.

"I was young, around 16. I met this boy, and we didn't like each other at the start. He was annoying, and he thought I was annoying. Before we both knew it, we fell in love. Our parents didn't like our relationship, so they wanted us to split" she told me.
"you know, old days. If your parents don't like them, you can't marry them. I was so broken" she added.

"im literally in the same situation right now" I told her, and my gaze went to the servant, bringing our cakes.

"is it so? tell me more about it" she asked.

"well, long story short. I fell in love with this boy. We also hated each other at the start, but then we fell in love. His dad, and my mom were in a relationship. They found out, and now im here. Mom is making is stay at this hotel, really far away from him. She deleted him from my phone so I can't have contact with him. I miss him so much" I said.

The lady gave me an understanding smile.

"oh sweetie, im so sorry",
"when our parents didn't want us together, he made the craziest plan, you want to know what we did?" the lady asked.

"what?" I asked and smiled.

"we ran away"
