Snow were falling from the sky and waters turned to ice. It was a very cold season, a good time to cuddle with your love ones, or maybe just chill in front of the fire place doing whatever relaxes you. In a blink of an eye, halloween ended it's reign as the best holiday to Yume as the winter season came around. Subaru was too much excited than her, who bought gifts in advance and also decorations to put around their house. Yume didn't mind at all, it was fun seeing him in that state.

It was just the day before Christmas, and there they were in the living room setting up the colorful and festive decorations Subaru had bought. Not to mention the tall tree he brought inside with ease. Though Yume got used to planning the party and command admins or her fellow schoolmates as planned, she tried her best to help Subaru as much as she can. It was quite weird to not cut down a big tree and set it up in the middle of the school.

"Hey, you're doing a concert right?" Subaru spoke, grabbing one pink ornament. "The free one's you guys always do, not the one where you have to pay." he clarified.

Yume nods. "Yeah of course! It's been like a celebration for our friendship, like a milestone for us- you never know when you'll stop having them around you. That sort of stuff." she answered with a grin. "Well, I suppose you guys are going to have one right?"

"Yep." he replied. "And it's tomorrow, at the exact time of yours too."

"Don't you ever feel sad about it?" Yume asked, "I mean, it's the last concert you'll do with the whole gang since were all graduating."

Subaru glanced at her. "I do," he replied. "But in your case, I know you guys will stick together. I mean look at your friendship, it's still strong and you guys are inseparable."

Yume just fell silent and continued on doing the decoration. She felt sad inside, the year was already ending and it meant one thing: they'd have to go on their own ways. She feared of being left alone, without her friends- the source of her happiness and strength and her support system too. But she was sure, before everything would end in their middle school days, they'd discuss upon their decisions for their next step. But that wasn't the only thing she felt sad for...

"Earth to Yume-chan." Subaru screamed. "Are you alright?"

Yume shook her head and blinked. "Y-yeah, i'm fine." she croaked.

"You sure?" Subaru raised his brow, "You can tell me you know, i'm here to comfort you."

Her worries were slightly coming back to her again. She'd have to treasure these moments with him, after all, everything would end after a week of their concert, right after New Year's Eve. Mayumi had told them before, in their meeting that their contract for the show would last about 7 months, they started on the month June, and since it was December, it would have to end. Even though it was already clear to her that she truly held feelings for the blue eyed boy, she couldn't bring herself to admit it to him.

Though actions speak louder than words, she still wanted to tell him what she truly felt.

"Are you hungry?" Subaru's voice broke her thoughts again. "I cooked curry for you."

Yume's eyes widened. "You didn't taste it right?" she asked.

Subaru laughed. "I told you i'm allergic to spice, not curry." he answered.
