Hello ARMY, the results from the first round are finally out.
Let me tell you this wasn't easy! Many judges dropped out and left us hanging and there were some scores that looked sketchish, so we had to put extra work and review some scores to make sure no books were being wronged.
Let me just remind you - PARTICIPANTS - that this round was about first impressions, so only the first seven chapters were read (with the exception of the Short Stories category). So don't feel down if your book didn't passed and take the comments made with consideration to better your book.
You are talented and just need to put in some more work! Just don't give up! Never give up. Being a writer it's not easy, and it isn't supposed to. You need to write with passion. Everything else comes with time and effort.
Some books will have some notes from the judges and others won't. We only selected the notes that we thought were best suited to guide the writers to better their works. IF YOU WANT THE FULL NOTES OF YOUR BOOK (with other informations and personal notes from the judges) COMMENT AND WE WILL SEND IT PRIVATELY!
