His Love

Chapter - 12 : A Problem

I was shocked after meeting Abhilasha. The only thing I was fearful about was my past. And here she came. I know Ruhana has questions in her mind. Usually, it's the girl who demands time before or after the wedding so that they can get accustomed to new environments and their partner. But here , it's me who's demanding time, despite knowing the fact that Ruhana loves me. Yet, I can't love her back. I am guilty for the fact, but there's time to be taken. Now the question is why is Abhilasha back even? 

Ruhana's voice brought me out of my trance and I looked at her. She has many questions ,and I know it. I told her about Abhilasha , and she was shocked. Why won't she?  No woman would like to know that their man is in love with someone else. I don't love Abhilasha, but I used to. She was my past. Yet she brought back so many memories. How will I answer Ruhana? 

When she demanded to know everything, I could not deny her. I could not let her questions grow. I told her that Abhilasha was the girl I loved in the past. She was shocked but I explained to her that she's my past and I won't let her come between us. She looked convinced yet I know she's not much satisfied. Meanwhile, my phone rang. It's from the office. Another problem? I hope its not. 

But we need to go back home. She was surprised but she understood. I booked our tickets back home, while she finished the packing. I got the tickets booked for the same day. She turned to me. 

"Vineet, yahan jo bhi kuch hua wo usey yahin bhul ke chalna. Tum udaas rahoge toh Maa sawal karegi aur unki baton ka koi jawab na hoga hamare paas. Abhilasha was your past. Usey apne aaj par haavi mat hone dena." she said. 

I nodded. I knew what she meant. 

" Ruhana, I know you need answers. Par agar tum mere sath ho toh ye sab jaldi khtm ho jayega. Aur tumhe sare jawab bhi mil jayenge. " I said.

She nodded affirmatively. 

" Par kya hua office Mein? " she asked. 

I shrugged my shoulders. I didn't know anything. It was my father who called me and asked me to come back immediately. Maybe there is some problem and he needs me. Ruhana understands and we leave for Mumbai.  After a journey of some hours, we landed on the airport and took a taxi back home. 

It was morning by the time we reached home. My mom and dad welcomed us. I found my dad worried. He asked me to get ready. 

"Papa Baat kya hai?" I asked. 

"office mein batata hoon. Tu ready ho ja." he said. 

"koi deal nai hui toh it's not a big deal,papa. We have many to achieve." I said. 

"Haan papa, Vineet is right." Ruhana also agreed with me. 

But he seemed worried. He looked at us. 

"Janta hoon beta. Lekin yahan Hume dhokha hua hai. Tumhe Yaad Hai Mr. Sinha jinse meeting hui thi!" he asked. 

"Haan papa. I dealt with them." I replied. 

"they say they have purchased our shares. Deal ka toh nai pata but hamare shares toh gaye hamare hath se." Anoop, my father said. 

I was shocked. How could this happen? I dealt with Sinha's  company and they seemed fine. This should be some game that they played with us. I looked at my father. 

" aapne pata lagaya ye sab kaise hua? " I asked.

"Beta, you dealt with it. You have to see it." he said. 

"vineet let's see it. Papa ko agar kuch pata nahi hai toh tumhe hi kuch karna hoga." Ruhana said. 

" Haan tum thik keh rahi ho. Main Jaata hoon unke office." I said and moved into my room and she followed me. 

An hour later, when I reached the Sinha's office, I was left shocked to see a certain someone, and the surroundings therein.
