Kaz: it's been nine months since then Wash: what there's no way I've been out for nine months Kaz: well what ever they hit you with did a number on you I kept an eye on you for that time everyone heard your message and fought back so the Stexian empire is gone without someone leading them it fell apart this planet has started to rebuild so this planets different now Wash: where's Simmons Kaz: oh um he's dead he died in the fight as he was shot down

Wash looks down feeling sad as the base alarm goes off scaring Wash

Kaz: (com) Why is the alarm going off ???: (com) Washington's gone whoever has him knocked out two guards and hooked up the equipment to them Kaz: (com) it's fine I have him with me also inform the doctor he's awake ???: (com) right sir immediately sir

The alarm turns off and Kaz looks at Wash

Wash: so what are you now Kaz: well their kind of treating me like a captain if that's the right word their getting me to help out in this base there using it like a command center for running the world Wash: I'm guessing other species have come to earth Kaz: well one have they were just wanting help

There was silence between the two as Wash thought about what Ava said to him

Kaz: want to head back inside Wash: (hoarseness) sure

The two go back into the warmth of the base Wash looked at Kaz noticing his face hairs have grown since he last saw him Wash stumbled back to the med bay

Kaz: you should rest Wash: besides what you told me what else has happened Kaz: everyone buried there dead in small memorials I went to one and spoke on your behalf everyone agreed that the memorials will be left nothing to touch them as they rebuilt some people who didn't have their loved ones placed pictures even dog tags Doc was worried we may have had to put you with them but there was a child there a kid named Wade he has no one to look after him so until someone adopts him I will be looking after him the only thing is I think he hates me Wash: poor kid he probably lost his parents in the war I can tell how he could be feeling but everyone copes with the pain of loss in different ways losing both of your parents is hard Kaz: you know if Doc let's you out this week you could come and visit him see if you could help him Wash: that would be nice

Wash didn't talk to Kaz much after that worried to ask about curtain things so Kaz left to do other things Dean walks past him

Dean: well look who's finally up Wash: you look good Dean: you look like hell Wash: (sarcasm) Thanks (normal) whatever they attacked me with is mostly gone now Dean: how are you holding up Wash: ok I guess I had nine months in my head but I don't think I was alone it felt like I was being watched though Dean: that was probably Kazsava he did come here everyday to see you Wash: everyday?

Dean looked to the side before looking back at Wash

Dean: how are you feeling about Ava Wash: what should I feel I had nine months I feel fine Dean: you sure Wash: ya the last thing she made me promise was to move on after she died even if it would be hard

Wash looked at Dean up and down seeing he was in a raider's kind of style

Wash: you going somewhere Dean: I found a rift in the world to other timelines I'm going to leave see where it takes me Wash: going to try and get your timeline back Dean: if I can then yes keep this one safe definitely Wash: will this be the last time I see you Dean: I don't know I hope not it is interesting to know how your life could have turned out Wash: if you do get your timeline back you won't have a second you to help you Dean: I know I'll have to be stronger

With a smile he disappeared into a cloud of smoke

Nef: well goodbye to you too Wash: oh Nef I didn't see you there Nef: you know you should have waited for me to get here you have probably made yourself worse by leaving and going out of the base Wash: I thought we lost I thought I didn't have much time to save everyone Nef: nice try on that lie want to tell me why you really left Wash: after all that happened I don't want to be here I don't want to sit in a hospital bed I don't really deserve it Nef: and why do you think that Wash: I got so many killed as I immediately trusted someone it hurts knowing that Ava died because of my mistake
