ASSUMPTION 1 ;

Cassian has actually kīlled a plant when he was a young boy ( accidentally ) by stepping on it and now he has minor PTSD over it, hence why he's always super cautious around plants in pots. ( he also made a burial for the plant because he felt the need to grieve—)

ASSUMPTION 2 ;

If Ezekiel had to choose between his looks and coffee, he would choose coffee, no cap.
