You were shocked as you stared at the familiar bright red hair. There stood right in the doorway was the one person who you drunk ranted to about the person you liked, hongjoong.
Hongjoong smiled as you simply stared at him in disbelief "well how are you, it's nice to see you again. Especially after you cried-" you cut hongjoong off by practically throwing yourself at him, you wrapped your arm around his shoulder and laughed nervously
You knew hongjoong had no idea who you liked which is why you were panicking because the person who you drunk ranted to hongjoong about just so happened to be your best friend who was standing right beside you...who could hear EVERYTHING hongjoong was saying
"HAHAHA, You're so funny hongjoong" then you glared at him hoping he would keep his mouth shut, but luckily another voice spoke "why are you guys just standing at the doorway, come in" you turned your head to see a cheerful looking blonde haired male
You walked inside removing your hand from hongjoongs shoulder as you saw four unfamiliar faces as they stood in the living room
"so guys these are my friends from the other college near ours, I knew this place would be expensive so I decided to invite them so we could split the cost for renting the cabin. This is wooyoung, yeosang, jongho, mingi, and then there is hongjoong, but apparently you already know him y/n" yunho said while pointing each person out. Before you could explain how you knew hongjoong, the excited blonde, or wooyoung ran over to you and placed his arm around your shoulder as he spoke
"so you know joongie already, from where. I heard you got to school with yunho so how did you two meet then" you were in deep, how were you going to explain that you literally cried to hongjoong while you were drunk and talking about your one sided love
"w-we met at a party, the one san took us too" you said and wooyoung looked at you closely and he pouted " yunho why would you drag her here, let the girl rest she is clearly exhausted" wooyoung said and you already liked him. He sympathized with you seeing how tired you looked and somehow managed to change the topic away from the party
"well it was more san" you complained while san raised his arms in surrender as wooyoung glared at him
"well it's nice to know I won't be completely broke after this trip" you said knowing that split between the nine of you renting this pace wouldn't be too expensive.
"yeah, I'm glad the eight of us are splitting the cost" mingi said while you looked at him confused at the number he just said but before you could correct him... chaos erupted
"NINE MINGI, NINE, also I told you there was a girl coming so you got her a single room for herself right. RIGHT" yunho screamed while mingi whined and covered his ears as everyone yelled
"I thought it was eight, also I thought y/n was a guy" he stated while you looked at him dumbfounded and yunho sighed "I said y/n was a GIRL" he said while you thought about it, you didn't mind sharing with yunho, san, or seonghwa considering you three were close friends.
"well I guess you could room with seonghwa and I" yunho said and san scuffed "what about me" he complained but you playfully glared at him "you dragged me here so no"
"that could work" yeosang said, you then walked towards the closest room about to put your stuff away but you looked at the beds. Two small beds were in each room, each one could definitely only fit one person comfortably unless you wanted to fall off trying to fit two people.
Yunho grabbed mingis collar while he screamed seeing the room "one thing, just ONE thing right" you watched as yunho aggressively shook mingi's shoulders "I said the big beds" yunho continues yelling as you snorted watching as yunho practically shook the life out of mingi
You walked over and gently grabbed yunhos shoulder "alright you big angry bear calm down, I can just sleep on the couch" you explained and yunho stopped shaking mingi and turned to you worried
"are you sure, you can take my spot since it was technically my fault for leaving such and important task to an idiot like mingi" yunho sighed out and mingi gasped as he put his hand on his heart as he whispered "I'm so offended". You chuckled at mingis reaction but then you thought about yunhos offer
You rooming with seonghwa, only a few feet away for a couple of days...alone.
NO, that was not going to happen unless you wanted to have heart problems by the end of this trip
"NO, it's fine. I can fit on the couch yunho, you're so tall so it would be very uncomfortable for you. So I can live sleeping on the couch, it's just a couple of days anyways" you said while yunho ruffled your hair "thanks y/n, you're the best"
More like you just wanted to not have a heart attack. Yes, you lived with seonghwa but you two didn't share a room, you both had your own space and that was enough to calm your rapidly beating heart.
You still remember when you saw him shirtless as he came out of the shower once and you thought you were going to pass out. Sharing a room with him and just a single bathroom in such close proximity meant there was a high chance of that happening again and you knew your heart would definitely not be able to take it
"well you can use our bathroom, it's not in our room it's out in the hall so it would be easier for you to use" jongho said while pointing to the bathroom down the hall and you smiled "alright, thank you"
Everyone had started unpacking but since you were sleeping on the couch you just kept your clothes in your bag. You decided to go out to sit on the sandy beach to take in some fresh air as everyone got settled in. Just as you were about to pass the few people in the living room who were finished unpacking you felt your upper arm being gripped, you looked up to see a smirking face
OH NO, you knew that face. You just wanted to relax
San smirked as he looked down at you while you grabbed the closest people to you who just so happened to be hongjoong and yeosang
"DON'T LET HIM TAKE ME" you pleaded and yeosang snorted as you were easily ripped away from the two and san picked up your large bag from the ground, you knew that smirk. San was planning something
"time to pick an outfit y/n...for the party" san happily said while you tired to protest and hongjoong laughed "good luck"
"NOOOO" you screamed, you didn't want to go to another party. Last time you went to a party you drunk ranted about your love life on the side of the street to a stranger...who you now were sharing a beach side cabin with, you didn't think this was the best idea. So much for just relaxing at the beach.
