rachel was sitting on her couch crying when there was a knock on her door she went to get it and it was marley and jake

"marley jake what are you doing here" rachel said

"i heard you were in town and we wanted to come see you" marley said rachel invited them in to sit down

"yeah i went to glee club did a duet with puck another with santana and then ran out" rachel said she liked these two they were honest and they had talent"do i really look like i've been crying for a week"

"sadly you do" jake said

"i visited her once in the 7 years i've been gone and i met you two i'm happy i did" rachel smiled she liked talking to them it made it worth it being here"so how have you two been"

"dating almost three years" marley said

"good for you two i haven't been with anyone since high school" rachel said she didn't mind that she was single she was focusing on her career at the moment"seeing them today i guess was weird"

"were going to the reunion tomorrow he wanted both glee clubs" marley said

"so whats really going on with you" jake said

"i'm alone there's no one i almost overdosed" rachel said she felt bad but she honestly wanted to tell someone"it would have been sooner had it not been for the two letters i had got"

"what letters" marley said rachel walked over to her purse which was on the counter and pulled out a envelope and walked over to the the two

"these one from puck and the other from santana they were the only one's who contacted me at all no one else mr.shue called but he's a teacher that really doesn't count" rachel said and handed them both a letter

"who knew my brother cared" jake said he couldn't belive that his brother contacted rachel

"the airforce did him good but quinn being quinn made him quit than broke up with him happy she wasn't my voice coach" marley said

"she was going to drive you down like she always done i'm happy you had santana as your's althought i probably will never admit it she was wasn't lying about me i made a lot about me i wanted to be a star and i got my wish now i'm alone" rachel said

"your not alone you have us i'll always be here and you got santana and apparently puck" marley said"were you two friends in high school"

"not really we dated for like a week but i was the gleek and he was gonna quit football for me and i didn't want that then news spread about quinn and her pregnancy" rachel said

"you two dated" marley said

"yeah" rachel said"he was one of the good ones just hid behind the bad quinn used her pregnancy to hurt a lot of people and then acted like the victum"

"beth i heard about her didn't your mom adopt her" jake said

"yeah she did then quinn ran her out of town" rachel said she hated quinn but there was nothing that she could do about it she missed her mom"i miss her but theres nothing i can do about it"

"i can't belive her why would she do that" marley asked

"she wanted beth back after signing her away" rachel said she knew from experience that when you get signed away you can't just go back to your real parents"she even attempted to plant things in shelby's apartment to label her an unfit mother"

"quinn didn't like me shelby and once she made an enemey out of you there was no going back" rachel said

"what all has she done" marley said

"lied about a pregnancy said it was one guys when it was someone else's cheated again on sam with finn faked like she couldn't walk when me and finn were engaged and he was campaigning with her she was a bad person i was hoping she changed but after today i don't think so" rachel said she had held hope that quinn would change and become a better person"she called me ms. left everyone behind barry i don't want to sing with you either me and puck did a duet and kurt said pucklebarry they always had a great combo quinn said she was good with anyone "

"it was nice seeing you rachel don't worry abou quinn she's just mad" marley said both of them stood up and rachel walked them to the door

"you too thanks may i ask how did you find me" rachel asked

"your snapchat location is on to friends only i checked" marley said

"it was good to see y'all bye" rachel said she opened the door the closed the door behind them"alone again" she went and sat on her couch and started reading again eventually dosing off

jake and marley went back to there apartment

"i feel so bad for her she gets treated like crap" marley said

"i got an idea" jake said he pulled out his phone and called his brother

"hey jake whats up" puck said

"you were in the airforce do you think you could figure out a way to get shelby corcoran here" jake said

"why may i ask" puck said he didn't understand why his brother wanted with shelby

"she was rachel's mom who she hasn't seen since quinn ran her out of town she has nobody left can you try she's sinking bad it hurts to see her like this" jake said

"how do you know rachel" puck asked as far as he knew rachel never ever made an appearence since she left for high school

"she visited McKinley once me and marley know her" jake said

"i'll see what i can do brother" puck said

"thanks man and by the way she said you and santana's letter helped her" jake said and hung up

"what he say" marley asked she wanted to help rachel she hated seeing her so sad

"he said he would see what he could do" jake said he really hoped that his brother could help
