Unexpected Addition

After the testing

It was after the Autism behavioral testing and Camila was found positive with Autism. "So, Karla Jauregui was found positive however she is very mild on the spectrum. Here are some pamphlets on how to best take care of your daughter and some good speech therapist in the area that specializes in Autistic children. Although, there is a chance she may not be able to speak more than a few words." The doctor said while handing Lauren the pamphlets and sticky note. Lauren took the papers and thanked the doctor for seeing them and walked to Camila with her arms out. "C'mon Camz we're going home to see Dinah."
Camila then dropped the toys and ran to her mothers arms to snuggle in her neck with a big smile on her face. As Lauren walked out she heard a soft sigh from Camila and a "Mmm-Mami." Lauren started crying again. "That's right I'm Mami. Let's go see Mama." Lauren then walked to her car carrying Camila and buckled her in her car seat. She kissed her forehead and got in the drivers seat and headed home.
She came home to find the house smelling like cookies and a Cookie Monster doll on the living room table. "Mami Cookie Mobster" Camila said as she walked inside towards the table and she pulled the doll right off the table. She hugged him and stared at her mother and pointed to the TV. As if asking to put Cookie Monster on the TV. Lauren walked to the table, grabbed the remote and set up Sesame Street for Camila. As Camila was zoned into the TV, Lauren walked into the kitchen and found her girlfriend placing the cookies on a plate. "Hey baby." Lauren says.
      "Hey. I wanted to surprise Camila after the appointment. What are the results?" Dinah asks.
      "She is autistic, but I got some pamphlets about autism for her." Lauren says.

So I'm having some writers block right now and with my new job I haven't had a lot of time to write so this story is going to be on hold for a bit. I'm sorry guys.
