Diplomatic Trip

I opened my eyes to see that Roon was gone I then began to hear dishes clinging and clanging downstairs "She must be in the kitchen " I thought to myself I looked at my clock and saw it was 7 in the morning I then got up and went to the bathroom and splashed some water in my face then looked at myself in the mirror and sighed as I looked down at the sink "Are you ok Kommandant " I turned to see who it was and saw that it was Roon who just smiled at me "Oh Guten Tag Roon im feeling ok thank you for asking " I responded to her she just chuckled at me still keeping the smile on her face she then said "Oh und by the way Kommandant Bismarck Z23 and Eugen are downstairs waiting for you downstairs also I made breakfast as well its Speckpfannkuchen after all you need to eat Mien Kommandant " I just smiled at her in response and nodded and said "Vielen Dank Roon " Ill be down in a moment to eat just let me change and get ready Ja " she just smiled and nodded then left the bathroom I then heard my door close and footsteps fade down the stairs.

I left the bathroom and went to my closet and got my uniform and proceeded to put it on once it was on i grabbed my cover and Luger and loaded it with a magazine of ammo then put the other in my left breast pocket I then proceeded to open my bedroom door and head down the stairs and hear several female voices all conversing in German "Guten Tag ladies " I said to them they just all responded in unison "Guten Tag Kommandant Ludwig " i just smiled at them and sat at the head of the table and proceeded to begin eating the food as they all did too Bismarck then looked at me and said "So Kommandant I've been meaning to ask you how would about a diplomatic trip to the Sakura Empire it's just we haven't heard from them for quite sometime and last I heard they might attack the Azur Lane Headquarters and start a war" I just nodded to her in response "They'll play their cards before we play ours" Z23 nodded "Right which is why we need to make a visit and see what the issue is" she said. I then folded my hands together then looked directly at roon and Z23 "We're going on a trip to the Sakura Empire to speak to their Commander and of course offer any assistance if it is needed of course" they both nodded in response as everyone got finished with their breakfast I then got up and went outside the front door and looked out to the sea and sighed "Let's hope the Sakura Empire hasn't made their move yet til we get there" I told myself I then heard the door open and heard the girls coming out I then felt a hand on my shoulder which caused me to look to my left to see Z23 standing next to me "Don't worry Kommandant your in good hands we won't let anything happen to you" she said as she smiled at me slightly before walking off with Room to prepare for the journey

I then sighed slowly and followed them they went to their dorms to go prepare and I went to the Port to get ready as I was walking toward port some shipgirls passed by each giving me a salute and me returning one back I eventually got to the Port and looked at the ship in front of me taking us on our journey to the Sakura Empire the KMS Deutschland I just smiled at the ship and turned to be met face to face with Deutschland "Guten Tag Kommandant Ludwig how are you doing today" she said as she used her red mechanical hand to fix my cover on my head I just smiled at her and said "Guten Tag Deutschland good good things are going good so far will you be joining us to the Sakura Empire " she just smiled and nodded at me "Well this is my ship vollidiot" I just chuckled at her response as I saw Z23 and Roon coming down to the Port I fixed Deutschland's black cover "Vilien Dank Kommandant" I just responded "Ihr Willkommen Deutschland" Z23 and Roon then walked past us fully decked out and ready to leave me and Deutschland followed them onto the ship I then headed up to the bridge as Deutschland went with Z23 followed me to the Bridge to get ready to travel to the Sakura Empire I looked around for Roon and saw she passed the bridge and was headed to the Captain's quarters I then sighed and prepared the ship as it began to move out from the Port and out into the open sea

27 hours later*
I left the Captain's Quarters and went up to the main deck and saw an aircraft carrier in the distance I grabbed my binoculars from my bag and looked out at it and saw a Sakura Empire flag and felt a smile on my face and looked around the ship and saw a girl standing on the flight deck Z23 then walked next to me and said "That's Zuikaku one of the Sakura Empires Aircraft carriers she will escort us to the Sakura Empire " I just nodded to her as we began to get closer to her I saw the Sakura Empire Main Base in the distance I then put my binoculars down and turned around and began heading back up to the bridge I then stopped and turned around looked directly back at Zuikaku who by now was right next to our ship she just smiled at me and i saw a few planes take off frok her deck and fly over and next to us as she sailed right past us as we got closer and closer to the Sakura Empire Main base I noticed lots of cherry blossom trees everywhere "Pretty isnt it Kommandant " Roon said I just looked at her and said "Ja Roon es pretty" we then neared the port and I saw several other shipgirls standing there waiting for us i then began to slowly walk down from the bridge to the main deck as walkway began expanding to the port the ship then stopped and I adjusted my cover and began walking down the walkway with roon,Z23, and Deutschland following close behind I then stopped in front of the girls "Hello Kommandant Ludwig of the Irom Blood " they all said in unison and bowed the four of us bowed back as well two of them came up to with me one with nine black fox tails the other with nine white fox tails both walk up to me and bow I bowed back then the one with the nine white fox tails spoke "Hello Kommandant Ludwig of Iron Blood my name is Kaga this is my sister Akagi " I just responded to them "Pleasure to meet both of you and you two are " the other two girls approached me one of them with katana the other with ears that seemed like a cats the one with a katana bowed followed by the other girl "I am Takao and this is my sister Atago " she said as her sister just gave me a light hearted smile and a small wave "Pleasure to meet you both now lets get this meeting underway if you please would take me to your commander" they both nodded and extended their hands towards off the pier and we all walked in that direction we then all began going up some stairs that led to what looked a Japanese style pavillion all in complete silence I then felt someone pull me back a little which caused me to look down and see it was Z23 "Kommandant,Sie müssen vorsichtig sein, wir wissen noch nicht, was ihr Plan ist Ja" I just nodded at her slowly and stayed back a bit from the front of the group then we seperated with Akagi and Kaga going 6 a seperate direction toward another shrine amd we just continued walking with Atago and Takao Z23 Roon and Deutschland toward the pavillion at the top of the stairs once we got to the top of the stairs there was what looked like a small shrine Takao knelt in front of it bowing as Atago walked with the rest of us toward what looked to be like a dojo Atago then opened the door and extended her hand out toward a table lined with Sushi "I just smiled and went to the table and knelt down and waited for the rest of the girls and we began to eat "We will be meeting the Commander tonight" Atago told me
Later that night.......
I walked out the back door onto the patio wearing my uniform with Z23 we both looked up at the starry night sky "So Kommandant can I ask you a question " I just looked at her with a serious look "Yes Z23 what is it " she just chuckled "Do you think we can win this " I just slightly smiled and responded " Of course I do Z23 there is no doubt in my mind that we will win in the end" she just smiled and patted me on the back and went back inside I looked up and saw what looked like to be a great horned owl "I thought those were native to only America unless" I thought to myself as I looked up and saw what looked like a figure standing in a tree I then felt something prick my neck I then grabbed my neck to see it was tranquilizer dart "Oh no" was all I could mutter out before I hit the floor
