they woke up, the candle no longer flickering, the time flashing from needing to be reset, and the bright sun glaring through the large glass windows, smiling down on the sleepy teens.
"mills, it's move in day," finn said, getting up to get a cup of coffee casually. but millie and lilia did the opposite.
"WHAT?" they yelled simultaneously, and he grabbed the mug, and k-cup thing, setting it in the coffee machine.
"i mean we don't have to be there until like, five hours, you can shower and get make up on and everything, we packed like two months ago and the furniture is on a u-haul so we will be fine." millie ran upstairs to finn's shower.
you're probably wondering why in fuck their parents wouldn't be there for their last day before they went to college.
well, their parents had tried. the had tried to be a part of their lives but ever since they had met each other they had taken care of themselves, they were a powerful team, they had accepted in like middle school that they would be okay hanging out as much as they do, and when high school came around finn's parents hung out with lilia's, and eventually millie's parents started hanging out with them so they were pretty much always at lilia's, while finn and them stayed there.
they were meeting for lunch, and then they would move into their apartment, go and buy groceries, and go shopping for school.
william and mary was the first college in the usa, right next to jamestown.
they were super excited, but all super scared. millie and lilia went upstairs to take their hour long showers, while finn stayed downstairs on his phone.
