midnight fell on the mid
spring of 1994 in marseilles,
france. her chaotic mind was
a color that was parallel to the
dark, azul hued sky and ran
with no comfort of love.
sitting silently on the terrance
of her penthouse that overviewed
the beautiful french city with a cup
of tea in her soft hands, kazumi resisted
the demons that haunted her thoughts
which would possibly hurt the baby in
her stomach. smiling down so lovingly
at her unborn child with melancholy
tears streaming down her rosy cheeks,
she adored the past five months. for
some time, the beautiful lady wasn't
alone when she had a baby girl
waiting to be born.
"ne hiromi-chan," the mother
whispered to her baby bump while
she gently stroked it with the love
she could wait to spoil her with,
"you're going to be such a pretty
girl, just like your oka-san."
this child was everything to
kazumi tsuji; hiromi even meant
more than the diamond ring placed
onto her fourth finger. after all, the
golden cartier band laced of faithless
strings that were so thin they
were ready to snap.
but, the mother-to-be was
grateful. she had a heavenly
angel waiting to be born; a child
that wouldn't live a life she went
through, or so kazumi thought
at that time. balmain was also
kind enough to let one of their
most prized models take
maternity leave.
