In the still darkness of night,
I felt the dark power
rising within me.
I crept forward slowly
deadly and silent,
just like this dense, dark night.
I am a part of it
so deep, so wicked,
wild and free...
I lunged forward
and grabbed
I strangled it, throttled it
I sank my fangs into the soft, tender neck.
The tang of the blood
The warm, salty blood
The fresh, crimson blood...
It quenched my thirst,
and my longing desire.
I felt the power alive
within me
around me...
The power of red and black...
...blood and death
from life to eternal life!
The thick darkness of night
was tearing away slowly
The light of the sun,
of a new dawn
was piercing through,
creating a gateway for
many new hopes
many new lives
and all the goodness yet to come. But it was drawing away the darkness,
the evils of night
the nocturnal beings
the devilish and the blood thirsty
Like us...
Like me!I flee;
But to return the next time
When the darkness will rule again.
The thirst will be quenched
When the red and the black will rule the night!(Photocredits: vyle_art via devianart)
