Teen Titans: The Trip to Gotham City

Chapter 3: The Communication

Robin answered quickly "No! I go on patrol everyday in this city, no one ever lits such a logo on sky. Besides, it's the only speciality of Gotham City".

He added "Slade is there and we are here, time is running out of our hands, I think we should head to Gotham City right now! Get the T-ship ready! " And Robin started walking towards the door

Cyborg and Starfire came in front of him and stopped him and Cyborg said "Hold on dude, I think we should not-"

"What?!" Exclaimed Robin confusingly, he added,
"What? You want Slade to destroy everything in this world?!"

"No, that's not what I meant. I think we should inform Batman about this. Since, going to Gotham City, might take some time, but if we inform Batman about this, he might start investigating and find some clue of his location, since you know, he is the world's one of the greatest detectives"

"Yes Robin, Friend Cyborg is right, I think we should inform the Batman."

Raven finally said, "Besides, Batman might think that we think that he is not capable enough to protect Gotham city, himself."

Robin finally said "Fine, let's call him...".
in a reluctant way.

Cyborg nodded and went to screen.

"Do you know how to call the batman?" Asked Starfire.

"While we were preparing the team, we didn't have much numbers but some were known to us, like the Justice League, which was given by me, Doom Patrol given by Beast Boy, and many more, and we kept on discovering new ones for crime fighting and yeah, Batman's number was given by Robin"

Robin, looked away when Cyborg told that Batman's number was given by Robin.

"Oh Robin, How did you manage to get the Batman's number?" Starfire asked in a loving way.

"Um Starfire..." Said Robin while scratching the back of his head.

"I actually have worked with him..."

"What? But when? How?"

"A long story which I would like to say later on. But that like I was 12 years old and worked as his sidekick"

In Teen Titans Go! (2003 comic series) in issue#47, it was revealed that all the Titans know Robin's secret identity. But they haven't seen his face behind the mask except Starfire, who saw his face. Batman himself saw that Starfire saw his identity and was happy about it.}

Robin sounded sad while saying this.

Beast Boy said, putting his hand on his shoulder asked "Dude, you two made a very good team, people called you "The Dynamic Duo", then why do you like to ignore matters including You and Batman?"

Robin, pretending to not to hear Beast Boy's question, keeping his arms crossed, asked Cyborg, "When will it connect?"
Raven was watching everything silently and was standing beside Starfire.

Cyborg, meanwhile was waiting for the call to accept.

" Batman is not picking up our call" said Cyborg

"He does have a bad habit of not picking up Unknown calls" said Robin.

*In the Bat cave*

"Incoming Video call....Incoming Video call..."

"Sir, You have a call" said Alfred.

"It's from unknown person, pretty suspecting since Bat cave's number is known to few of my trustees as well as my arch enemies" said Batman

"Master Wayne, you should, it might be someone important"

"Right, let's pick it up"

Bruce was already in his costume but didn't wore his mask that time and before he pressed the call acceptor button, he wore it quickly and Alfred moved away from the view of screen and Batman pressed the "Accept" option.

"Call accepted"

"He picked up the call!" Declared Cyborg.
Everyone moved in front of the screen.
Robin looked at the screen with a bit of curiosity.
The screen got on with the face of Batman looking at them seriously.

"Why have you called me?" Batman looking at everyone carefully not recognizing anyone until he saw Robin and the alien girl, Starfire and later remembered, that he got the news of Robin forming a new crime fighting team in Jump City.

Everyone looked at eachothers faces when they noticed Batman looking at them very carefully and you know, giving them his "Bat Glare" and then Cyborg finally spoke "I hope you know about The Teen-?"

"I do, the crime fighting Superhero team, The Teen Titans. So why have you called me?"

Robin stepped in front a bit and everyone moved back a bit, since you know, he is the leader.

He said, "A villain named Slade has threatened for a massive destruction of earth. He is going to use the Xenothium Amphibilator, I figured out his current location to be in Gotham city"

"How are you so sure?"

"He did a video call, about half an' hour ago" Robin pressed some buttons on the control pad and it showed the picture the Zoomed in the clip of a video to the window where the bat logo was lit in the sky and Robin pressed the share screen option and that zoomed in picture was shown to Batman's screen.

"This is how. This logo is a symbol of yours as well as a iconic way to recognise Gotham City as it is it's distinctive feature".

"Good. Well, you-"

Before Batman could finish, a new notification popped up in his computer and he opened up and a video of a news channel got on, the titans could hear what that video said.

"The terror of the city has arrived! Joker has yet again escaped Arkham Asylum but this time not alone but a mysterious man, what will Batman do?" And Batman the clip ended.
