today is the day I've been dreading for.
my birthday -_-
i know weird right most people love their birthdays but not me, heres why
for the last 16 years very year it has rained or stormed on my birthday and I'm not able to go outside and have fun or go places because the rain makes me and everyone else lazy. ever since my 12th birthday i stopped wising or hoping it wouldn't rain and just quit celebrating my birthday my parents didn't even notice because they were never home, they were always on business trips so they never had time to pay attention to me. they didn't even have time to shoot their own daughter a happy birthday text.
so for this year i didn't do anything but lay in my bed and watch nexflix why you may ask?
because guess what ITS RAINING! not a suprise.
its currently 5:15 pm and I'm still in bed watching vampire diaries and its about to get good but then my phone had to ding and inturupet my show i looked to see who it was and its was Johnny.
if you don't know who johnny is he's my best friend his and my parents were best friends but that changed when my parents go there job of business trips. my parent practically cut everyone out. but when me and john were born our parents friend group was still thing they knew me and him would be inseparable and they weren't wrong me and john do everything together and it the process of up being friends for no 16 years i may or may have not found out that i have feeling for him when i was 13 i tired to ignore it because johnny would never feel the same but the more i tired to deny it the more stronger my feelings grew for him. he obviously doesn't know.

i sprinted as fast as i could down the stairs to see a soking wet johhny with a bear in a basket filled with stuff. i laughed at his silliness for comming at this time of the day don't get why he couldn't wait until tomorrow
"john what are you doing here" i said with a slight giggle coming back with a towel and some extra cloths that he leaves here. "its your birthday and i have gifts duh" he said. "and you couldn't wait till tomorrow?'' "tomorrow isn't gonna be your birthday now is is?" "no" i said. "well the your question is answered" he said with a smile "now here take a look" he added on handing me the basket filled with goodies. i took it and went to the couch and started to open it it had a teddy bear and a ton of candy mostly my favorites and a hoodie the belonged to john "why are you giving me one of your hoodies when i can just take them when i go over?" "because missy you have & 7 of my hoodies and id like them back so I'm giving you this one that you can keep permeantly in exchange of the other 7" he said " how about i just add this one to my collection?'' i said with a giggle and a smile "y/n-" he started but i cut him off "its my birthday" i said with an evil smile "fine" he gave in "so wheres everyone else" he asked "not here " "where you not gonna do anything today" he asked with furrowed eyebrows "no" i said quietly "why" "john have you not noticed?'' "noticed what?" "every year on my birthday it rains so theres nothing much to do" i said looking down because i felt bad for all the times i lied about doing something with my "girl friends" but i really just stayed home.
he looked at me with a smirk and i didn't like it when he did that because he was up to something and i know it wasn't gonna be any good. "what" i asked worried "follow me" he said with a smile and walked to the front door and opened it "where are we going?" "to your driveway" my eyes widened because he wanted to go outside in the rain and get wet oh no
"john no" "come one y/n live a little its your birthday" he pouted with his puppy dog eyes he knew i could never say no when he did that it was my weakness "fine" he held out his hand and i took it he rain out with me behind and we got soaked instantly "run" he said i was confused but then i knew what wa about to happen i ran like there was no tomorrow. he soon chased after me and caught me pretty quick. "may i have this dance my lady" he asked and bowed with his hand out "well of course you can" and i took his hand and we danced in the rain and he kept cracking jokes every now and then making me bursts into laughter because his jokes never made senses
after what seemed forever of dancing in the rain out laughter died down and he looked me straight in the eyes and my stomach turned snd i became nervous i tried to hide it and he started talking "y/n I'm probably gonna mess everything up right now but if i don't tell you its gonna just keep driving me crazier that right now." he said nervously "what is it?" i said trying to hide the fact that i was nervous to but what did he mean it might ruin is? is he moving?!?!? noo. my thoughts were soon cut off. "okay here goes nothing, i really really really like you wait no scratch that I'm practically in love with you and i know you don't feel the same but its killing me to keep this from you and i just need to tell you before it gets to late" he says.
i was in complete shock i tired to process what just happened and i tired to get the words out of my mouth but they wouldn't come out. johnny looked hurt "great I'm sorry i-i think I'm just gonna go home" he said with tears in his eyes lossening his grip around my waist and starting walk away. "johnny!" i called out and and he turned around i ran full speed to him and grabbed his face and crashed my lips on his on his it took him a couple seconds to comprehend what's happening but he eventually melted his lips onto mine and all was right with the world I soon pulled away and spoke "I love you too" I said with his forehead on my. He just smiled and crashed his lips on mine again. He pulled away and said "well I guess the only thing left is to ask you to be my girlfriend now what do you say ?" I smiled and kissed him "does that answer your question?" I said with a giggle "mmm no do it again for me to make sure" he said with a huge grin and we kissed again and I pulled away and I put my forehead on his and whispered
" best birthday ever "
I said with a biggest smile ever
