Chenles foot kept taping against the hospital floor. He knew it would be awhile but he couldn't help but wait.

A water was held in front of his face. He grabbed it and smiled up at the person who gave it to him.

"You need to calm down. He's just going through the aftermath of the surgery. There's nothing to worry about." Lucas said as he ruffled chenles hair. In all honesty, he was scared. One wrong move from the doctors and he loses more blood. But Chenle was a reck and he had to calm him down. Only Jisungs brothers were allowed in there. And non of them had come out. It scared everyone.

"I-I know hyung. I-I just-" Chenle looked at his hand that still had blood on it. Jisungs blood. "I'm scared." Chenle said in a voice barely above a whisper. He looked at the water bottle and sighed.

"He's protected me so much, so many times and I can't even protect him this one time." Chenle said as he put the water bottle next to him. He didn't know what he would do if he got another chance but he wouldn't stand still and then just cry.

"Hey. Hey, you did what you could. None of us knew what to do. It's ok." Lucas said as he saw Chenle start to cry.

"I-I just stood there. I cried. I-I can't protect him." Chenle cried in his brothers chest. He didn't know what else to do. His emotions were thrown everywhere and he couldn't handle it.

"I-Im his hyung, I should protect him and baby him. Not the other way around." Chenle said. Lucas sighed and hugged his brother tighter. "It doesn't matter who's younger or older. He's just more protective. And that's ok. You did good. You helped." Lucas said.

Chenle nodded and wiped his tears. He took a deep breath and blew it out as he calmed down.

"Can we see donghyuck please?" A nurse said walking to the three brothers and Jeno. Donghyuck nodded and walked over.

"Hyung." Donghyuck said softly as he saw mark crying. Donghyuck hugged him and kissed his forehead. Mark smiled and hugged him back. He wiped his tears.

"Jisung can have visitors but he wants Chenle to come in last." Mark said with a smile. "Can he move and stuff?" Donghyuck asked. Mark nodded. "He just had stitches, nothing more. it wasnt that big of a gash either. just the king's cut deep. He can move." Mark said. Donghyuck nodded and kissed marks lips softly.

He walked back and told jeno and Lucas and then grabbed chenles hand.

Lucas and Jeno walked in and sighed in relief as Jisung smiled softly at them.

Donghyuck walked in and Chenle slowly walked in after him. He felt his legs almost give out as he saw Jisung smile softly.

Jisung slowly opened his arms and motioned Chenle to come closer to him.

Chenle ran to him and hugged him. Jisung wrapped his arms around chenles waist and hid his face in chenles shoulder. Chenle cried harshly as he gripped Jisungs gown.

Jisungs shoulders shook as he hugged Chenle closer.

Chenle pulled away to see Jisung crying harshly. Chenle smiled softly and wiped his tears.

"Hey. Hey no tears." Chenle said. Jisung nudged his hand away from his cheek and buried his head in chenles shoulder again.

"I-I was scared when I woke up and didnt see you." Jisung said as he held Chenle close and took the warmth of his body in.

"It's ok. It's ok. I'm here. I'm right. Here. Don't move to much." Chenle said running his fingers through Jisungs hair and rubbing his back. Jisung was still crying and couldn't stop.

"Sh. It's ok jisungie. Look at me." Chenle said in the softest tone he could muster.

Jisung looked up at him with tears in his eyes and a pout.

Chenle wiped his tears and kissed his forehead.

"I'm here aren't I? I'm hugging you right now. Hyungs are here. We're all here and not going anywhere. You need to calm down. Please for me?" Chenle said as he pushed Jisungs bangs back. 

Jisung nodded slowly and took a shakey breath in and then out. He did it over and over again until his breathing was back to normal.

"There we go. Now lay down and don't move so much. You just got stitches." Chenle said as he slowly and softly pushed Jisung down onto the bed. Jisung went down with ease and made sure he didn't lay on the side that had just gotten stitches.

"I'm tired Lele." Jisung said softly. "Get some rest then, baby chick." Chenle said as Jisung interlocked their hands together.

"Don't..let go?" Jisung asked softly as s he eyes began to close.

"I won't. Get some sleep." Chenle said as Jisung closed his eyes and squeezed their hands together tightly.

"You ok Chenle?" Johnny asked as he pulled up a chair for him.

Chenle nodded. "Just....got scared I guess." Chenle said as he laid his head on Jisungs bed and watched his chest rise and fall.

"Hello everyone. Oh looks likes hes knocked out." The doctor said with a smile as he entered the room.

"I am Jisungs doctor for today. I just came to give you all an update and details." The doctor said as he looked at his sheets.

"So Jisung will be able to go home in two days. He should be a bit healed by then. But he shouldn't perform in any activities for four days." The doctor said.

"Do you know about where he was stabbed? Like did it harm anything?" Yuta asked.

"Fortunately, the person who stabbed him missed one of his major veins and just stabbed through skin and tissue. Nothing more. Who ever put pressure on the wound did a very good job. If they hadn't done that he would've bled out before arriving at the hospital." The doctor said.

Chenle looked down at the dried blood on his hands.

"Do you know anything about the one who stabbed him?" Mark asked

"He's in custody and claims to know Jisung. Bit that's all I know." The doctor said.

"We'll come back for his check up in about four hours." The doctor said smiling and bowing as he left.

Chenle looked at Jisung who was asleep and smiled softly. He sighed and looked at the blood on his hands.

"go wash that off. He'll be fine." Jeno said.  Chenle nodded and slowly slipped his hand out of Jisungs and went to the restroom. He closed his eyes and opened them softly. He felt stressed. And he didn't know why.
