grandmother was alive in the summer with the blazing tropical heat shielding her eyes. her arthritic bones make her legs wobble her heart aches but she moves on. towards the sun she repeats. her granddaughter is waiting for in there. she's waiting. she's burning. she's melting. but she will get there. the nectar sun stares down at her. honey brown skin glowing. i've come to see my child she's says. the sun doesn't say anything.it admires her. it groupes her skin and asks her how the earth got there. she doesnt answer. it encases it's mouth on her flesh.

mango

it tastes like mangoes, her skin is drapped in ivory.the flowers bow. the sun is astonished. how can she tastes so sweet. they plant themselves on her skin. I will grant your request. it says. but first tell me how you control the flowers. the grandmother smiled. she walked closer and she could see her grandchild waiting. she whispers. the flowers confuse the darkness of my skin for home.
