The next day, Stella was at her locker like she said she would be. She waited for about ten minutes and nobody showed up. She grabbed her backpack and began to walk away, but stopped when she heard somebody call her name.
"Stella!"
Stella turned around and saw a face that was familiar to almost everybody in this school.
Luke Hemmings - the popular boy in school who almost all the girls in school were madly in love with - sent Stella notes telling her she was beautiful.
Luke Hemmings, out of all the boys at school, liked Stella.
Little did she know, it was all an act - until Luke realized that she didn't want it to be that way.
"Luke?"
"So you do know who I am," Luke said.
"I didn't until now," Stella replied.
"It's nice to finally meet you," Luke told her.
"You too. Maybe we should've gotten to know each other more," Stella said.
"I agree," Luke replied.
"Do you want to go out to dinner tonight?"
"Sure. That sounds nice," Stella told him.
With that, the two of them walked out of the building, holding each other's hands and not letting go.
