Stella was outside of the school building by 3:10 and Luke arrived at 3:15, just like he said he would. He had a rose in his hand and got down on one knee as if he were proposing.
"Stella," he began, "Ever since the day we met, I knew there was something special about you. You mean so much to me. Would you like to be my date to the winter formal?"
"Of course I'll go with you, Luke," Stella said.
At the winter formal, Luke was wearing a classic black tuxedo and bow tie while Stella wore a long light blue dress. Luke told her countless times that she was beautiful, and the compliment always made her blush. When the DJ played "Kiss Me" by Ed Sheeran, Luke held Stella's left hand with his right and put his left hand around her waist. The two of them danced until Luke slowly leaned in to kiss Stella at the end of the song. Luke wrapped both of his arms around Stella's neck as she kissed back. It was the end of a perfect night.
Author's Note: And just like that, the book is already over! I already started writing the sequel, which will be posted on here soon. I'll post the epilogue in a little bit.
