Rafe and I broke up so Topper invite me at a party with his friends.
the second I entered the house I was face to face with Rafe. there was a long moment of silence before my brother Kelce opens his mouth.

- yo Rafe ! wassup ?
- good. I'm just go get some fresh air ! and he leaves. without even paying attention to me.

I went straight to the bar to have a beer.

- hey y/n ! I turn around to see Topper with a huge smile.
- hi.
- I was not sure you were coming. happy to see you !
- yeah. Kelce forced me to come.
- huh.. ok. If you need something just ask me. he didn't let me reply that he's already gone.

nice job y/n. He welcomes you at his house and you're note even able to be pleasant towards him. I say quietly to myself.

I make my way to Topper's room.
when we were young. we used to do pyjamas party together. but we had to ended that when Sarah started dating him, and we're not young anymore.

I put some music on his laptop and lied my body on the bed. my eyes closed, my thoughts are jostling.
the door opened, which make me skip an heartbeat.

- no, no Topper. sorry, I should have asked you if I could come in your room.
- it's okay. why are you not partying with the others ?
- I don't really want to see Rafe.
- he's an asshole. he didn't have to treat you like that. you deserve better.
- or maybe I don't deserve him..or anybody else. nevermind. I go take an another beer. I won't let him ruin my night !

I got up from the bed ready to go downstairs.

- you told me if I need something I can ask you right ?
- yEah sUre
- I need you on the dance floor with me ! I say with a huge smile.

we danced all night, we got closer and closer.
our lips are barely touching. I decide to make the first move and press my lips to his. he moan softly in my mouth. I could feel his smile in my lips.

when we pulled away I buried my head in the crook of his neck and just enjoy the moment.
