Amy's POV:

I was cleaning my house because I really had nothing else to do, and Shadow was coming over, I wanted to make it clean for him.

While I was vacuuming my living room carpet, I tripped over something.

"Ow!"

I got up and looked to see what it was, and when I did, all I saw was a tiny box.

"Huh? How did that even get there?"

I picked up the small box and looked at the designs it had.

It was pink with blue stickers on it. I found it kind of strange, but I still decided to open it.

Inside it was a folded paper.

I put the box down and unfolded the paper.

I started to read it because I was obviously curious.

" Hey Amy! I want to wish you a happy birthday! All I have to say is that you are one of my bestest childhood friends! I appreciate you in every way! I am sorry I couldn't say it in person since I am sick, but I can always write to you!

-From Sonic"

Tears started to fall from my cheeks...

This was from last year on my birthday......

I held on to the paper too tight that is crumbled...

Reading that made me miss Sonic so much...I miss him!!

I suddenly heard a knock on my door bell.

OH RIGHT! SHADOW!

I quickly put the paper back in the box, and hid the box behind my cookie jar in the kitchen.

I walked over to the door and opened it for Shadow.

"H-hey Shadow!"

Shadow looked at me very closely, he was so close to my face his nose was touching mine..

"Why were you crying"

"CRYING? ME? HAHA NO!"

Shadow gave me a stern look, I knew I had to tell him...

" *sigh* come here Shadow."

Shadow followed me into my kitchen, then I got the box that was behind my cookie jar, and I gave it to him.

"What is this?"

"Just open it."

Shadow opened the box and saw a crumbled piece of paper in it.

"Read what is on the paper" I told him.

He did as what I said and started reading it.

His face got angrier and angrier, that is when I knew I messed up!

Shadow tore the paper in half in rage and stomped out of my house.

"Shadow! Wait!" I yelled running after him.

This can not be good...
