Chapter 16

Sonic's POV:

I opened my eyes and see Amy's Roof above me.

I was confused and sat up, I was on her couch.

Did I fall asleep?

The last things I remember was Shadow coming over, and.....

I broke down in front of him....

Did I fall asleep after that?

I felt a little good, I finally got some sleep for once, but something still seemed wrong.

Oh right....Amy is not with me, Tails is not with me either.....

My head aches..how long was I even asleep for? I honestly didn't want to know anymore. Well since I haven't eaten either, I guess I could see if Amy has anything to eat.....

She always has the best food! That is something I love about Amy!

Something I love about Amy.......

I ignored my thoughts and went to the fridge. But then I saw a piece of paper on the dining table.

Obviously I decided to see what it was, I mean, who wouldn't? I picked up the piece of paper, and it read,

Go into Amy's room for something special.

Uh, okay...that was weird. But I did as the paper told me. Maybe Amy and Tails are back!!!

I went into Amy's room, and saw nothing at first, but then I saw something's one her bed. I went over to it to see what is was.

Everybody's communicators?

Why were everybody's communicators here?

Next to them was a note.

If you want to see your friends again, come to the park!

EGGMAN TOOK THEM!?!?

I dropped the paper and ran to the park. He WILL give me my friends back!!!

I arrived at the park, and to my suprise, there was nothing.

Have I been lied to? Was that note not from Egghead and I was just being stupid?

I felt stupid and was ready to leave the park until there was a huge sound.

What the heck-

Wait a minute, I recognize that.....

It is the portal Amy went through!!

"Woah.." I whispered to myself.....then I heard a sudden voice come on.

"Greetings Sonic."

Ugh...it was Eggman, well at least this wasn't a joke.

"EGGMAN! Where are you!?! What did you do to my friends!?"

"Calm down now, I can't quite tell you that yet. It will spoil the fun! All you need to know is if you want to see your friends again, you need to go through this portal, and you will see your friends! Simple enough, now isn't it?"

"How do I know you are not lying and that you are taking me somewhere else?"

"Oh my! Calling me a lier?! Ha! Hurry hedgehog! Your friends are waiting for you!"

I started to think if I should or not....what if my friends really were behind where that portal leads to?

I gave the portal another look, thinking still.

I slowly walked towards the portal and went through it.

Amy's POV:

I woke up from a nap, which was VERY uncomfortable since Eggman didn't provide pillows or a mattress!

Ya think he would have?

I woke up to the sounds of people talking, they sounded so familiar...

I got up and looked around.

I was shocked to see that it was my friends! "Oh my gosh! Rouge? Shadow? Knuckles? Silver? Blaze? How did you guys get here?!?"

"Well..." Silver started to say. "All of us blacked out and woke up in separate cages. We really have no idea how we got here. All we know is that we are in Eggman's lair. But Amy and Tails! I am super glad both of you are safe!!!"

"Awe thanks Silver!" Tails said.

Blaze changed the subject back to what Silver was saying. "We don't remember what happened before we did black out, but Shadow remembers that he was at your house with Sonic. Apparently Sonic had a mental breakdown, and fell asleep after wards. Shadow put him on your living room couch, but then he blacked out."

Sonic? Had a mental break down!?

"Wait, he had a mental breakdown?" Tails asked. "What happened?"

"Faker had a mental break down because he kept lying to himself that he didn't love Rose. Which everyone knows that he clearly does. I told him that he does, and that was when he lost it. Before that, he didn't sleep, or eat, he refused to eat and sleep unless Rose was there with him. By the way, I'm glad you and fox boy are okay."

Sonic....loves me? But...I thought he hated me..

"Woah." Knuckles said. "Even we didn't know Sonic had a mental breakdown, poor dude."

"That is true, but there is more!" Rouge started to say. "Shadow has figured out where we are. Obviously we are in Eggmans base, but we are underground, not to deep though. Half a foot underground to be exact. And we are not far away from Town Mobius, which it good."

"Well how are we supposed to do now? How are we suppose to get out of here!?" I asked them.

Suddenly, there was a portal that opened.

Eggman walked out of it, but then someone else walked out..

It was Sonic!!
