"Isn't it time for you to take your medication?" Jaemin asked, passing her a water bottle.
"How the hell are you so calm Jaem? I'm freaking out" Jihae said, taking the bottle from his hand- tapping her foot on the ground noticeably intensified.
Chuckling at her words he sat down next to her, watching her as she gulped down her medicine.

"We've just one more class left for the day to end. Mrs. Lee's gonna come back tomorrow. I'm scared what's going to happen. We don't even know who stole it?! How can you prove yourself innocent Jaem?? We don't have the ring nor we have the money to pay. How will all of this—"
"Breath" He interjected, bringing her to a stop.
Nodding she looked away- embarrassed that she'd been ranting on.

The loud whispers and gasp filled the hallway, earning their attention.
The two walked out of the classroom, approaching the lockers where everyone was crowded.

"Oh my god he really did steal the ring!"
"I still can't believe Jaemin stole it"
"The proof is right here though.."
"Why would someone who stole it keep it so openly? Use your brains guys, it's not him"
"Don't support him. Did you forget he was forced transferred cause of theft??"
"Still!"
"Shut up! He's here"

Noticing Jaemin's presence the crowd soon cleared- except Renjun and Dahee, leaving the two confused.
His locker door was opened and the ring was placed right there.
Jihae's eyes widened noticing the ring.

"Oh god" She picked it up, monitoring it in shock trying to see if to really was her's or not- her face died down reading the name carved on the ring yet relieved for finding it.
"Don't loose it again" Renjun said pointing at the ring.
Nodding, she slid it on her finger making sure it was tact in place- now getting cautious about the ring.

Jaemin shut his locker close before turning to look at the others.
"Why the fuck are you smiling??" Renjun asked not knowing why he was smiling in such a situation.
"I know who it is" Jaemin said, smiling as he stared at the ring on her finger.
"What?" Jihae raised a brow.
"Nothing" He shrugged.

"Mom how did you get to know?" Jaemin asked, shocked to see his mother knew everything that happened.
"Mr. Yoo called me" She replied earning a groan from him upon hearing the name.
"Did you find the ring?" She asked and he nodded.

"The person who stole it, kept it back it in my locker" Jaemin said.
"Now everyone thinks it's you isn't it?!" She asked- concerned.
"Not really. I know who stole it, I just need the proof" He explained.
"How will you find it? You've just a night left to prove yourself dear" She said, pulling him into a hug.
"Don't worry, I'll find the proof. Not like I've a choice" He said through the hug.

"Wait.." He broke the hug, eyes wide as he realized something.
"Mom we don't have to transfer" He said, lips curling up into a smile as he looked at his mother.
"What?" She let out in disbelief.

"Yes mom. I've the proof!" With that said, he stood up and slid his feet into his shoes before hurriedly running downstairs the apartment he lived in.
"Where are you going Jaemin?" She yelled looking down at her son.
"I'll be back soon" He ran away out of her sight.
