My first month working was going smoothly so far, I was actually enjoying it, I had various small projects Ive been busy with, got myself a cute house a little bit away from the city, and a cat to keep me company, me and rosie have become good friends over the month, as have me and Tanner, I met his girlfriend Rosie, who also works at the company, and has helped me adjust, we became like a trio, and even though he is my boss, we make sure to keep things serious while we are at work, but once we are out of work thats when he becomes a big goofball. I've grown to love my life here in paris, and my job, creating new designs, and working on projects, at first I was quite shy since I was the only one who doesnt speak french but Rosie has been teaching me and my co-workers have been super understanding and have been speaking in english

"We have a VIP client she was a good friend of my mom, she is gonna be your top priority, no matter how long the meeting maybe, whatever she wants she gets" Tanner ordered to me, as he entered to my little cubic area "think of this as you first solo major project"

"If she is VIP who has been coming here for a few years now as you have pointed out be taken care of by someone who knows her better" I said nervously, I didnt want to mess up my first case with a VIP none the less

"She specifically asked for you, she saw your designs and loved it" he says proudly, Im glad he hasnt regret hiring me "by the way I dont know if her husband is with her, but if he is try being careful with what you say and dont be alarmed with his temper, or apperance, he is a devil" my curiosity got the best of me and before I could ask for the details, on what he meant and who this Vip client was a voice suddenly boomed

"Is my man really that scary?" A voice joined in "dont worry I left the devil in his cave" me and tanner both turned toward the voice

"Madam Kingsley!" Tanner greeted "Welcome back to paris" he gushed happily, walking towards her pulling her into a hug

"Oh tanner stop you act like we did not just see each other yesterday" she grinned jokingly as she and tanner hugged, I stood wide eyed at the women that stood in front of me

They hugged, I took this moment to examine her like a freak, but I couldnt help it, It was like seeing your favorite book character in real life, I couldnt help but stare at her in awe, the rumors and stories did no respect to acknowledge her beauty and grace, the way she held her self, nor her aura, like she was a queen, smiling joyously, moving gracefully, and talking elegantly, her long dark brown almost black hair flowed down elegantly, and her sapphire blue eyes had a glint to them, to say she is beautiful would be a understatement, I suddenly felt very intimated

"Is it a crime to be dramatic" "please meet Vallie Stone, the designer you requested"

"Nice to meet you Madam Kingsley" I greeted, placing my shaking hand out toward her, trying to remain calm

"Enough with the formalities" she said as she pulled me into a hug, kissing both my cheeks "call me Lily" her accent was thick, and I couldnt tell if it was Spanish or Italian or Russian

"Why dont we get started" I say, my hand pointing toward the conference room, she happily followed

"You know I dont mean to come of creeply but Ive heard many stories about you" I say as we sit "I'm flattered that you have chosen me"

"And I you, the CEO's Ex-wife" she grinned back at me

"How did you-" I ask wided eye, as I stared at her mortified, though I shouldnt be surprised she was also a new yorker, and she is technically a CEO's wife I suppose

"What can I say I am a women with vast knowledge and resources and don't worry I already know most of them arent true"

"How can you be so sure"

"For starters most of them just sound preposterous, and I know from experience the truth is always covered by the theatrics of the drama club, New York society women addition"

"Now I will admit I was intrigued when Tanner told me it was you who created the designs, but it was your designs that caught my attention, and I also love your new name Vallie Stone" she said to me firmly, as her fingers twirlled a strand of her hair "which is why I want you to design me a couple of outfits and a few dresses that I need for upcoming business balls and such you know, I want them to be bold, you know to make my man a bit pissed with me"

"A jealous man is always a turn on" I say smirking as I took notes, my head shaked playfully towards this women , she was not at all what I had expected, she had this aura that was light, but that glint in her eyes, I couldnt tell if it was a glint of playfulness, or wickedness

"I like your spirit, I dont have much time left, my beastly husband may already be destroying the house as we speak looking for me, I may have forgotten to tell him I was meeting you, probably thinks ive been kidnapped" she laughed out herself jokingly, I laughed with her, not really knowing if she was joking or not "Anyways, me, Rosella and our dear friend Jade are having a brunch at my house, it would be a delight if you came"

"Thank you but I don't-"

"Before you say no, I will have you know I am a very persistent women, how else do you think I got my husband to marry me" she said with a wink, I knew she might have been over exaggerating but I couldnt help but feel as of she was dead serious, I think the tabloids have confused her husband for being a devil, with her "and about the designs, I trust your talent and so go crazy with them, let your creativity run wild and I will see you then, I'll tell Rosie you will be joining us"
