"Sure let's get going." I look at Colby and smile a little. He fell asleep, "Colby wake up." "No!" He snapped at me. I laughed and pulled him up so that he was sitting. He groaned then stood up, "Bitch." Sam laughed and patted his back. "Come on man lets get her stuff and then you can go home and sleep." "Whatever." He rolled his eyes and walked up the stairs. They grabbed my bags and put them in their cars. I took my truck, Mike took my Jeep, and I followed the boys to the house. "Welcome home." I hear Corey yell out to me as I was getting out of my truck. "Thank you guys." I smiled at the group that is stood in front of me. "Seriously. We are happy to have you." Jake said putting his hands on his hips. "Can I hug y'all?" I looked at the ground then back up to them. "GROUP HUG!" Colby yelled and they all came running to me, I got the wind knocked out of me and laughed. "Let's get to unpacking." They all let go and I started grabbing boxes out of my cars. After about 5 hours it was lunchtime, we all came downstairs and I made us some grilled chicken with a side of pasta and corn. "Dude we are going to be so healthy with her here!" Jake said chowing down on his food. I laughed a little and finished dishing out the food. We all sat at the island eating and talking. "How long have you lived out in LA?" Mike asked "I've lived here for about 6 years. Me and Kat moved here together but then had a falling out. I had just turned 17 so I moved out of my mom's and found my own way." I frowned about how I 'found my way'. "I went through some rough patches, but here I am sober and with some amazing new friends!" I smiled at them. "I've been sober for a year," Aryia said smiling at me. "Really? I am proud. I've been sober for 2 and a half years." I played with the food on my plate a little, "I know how hard it can be to hold yourself back. There have been days where I was this close to starting all over again." I looked up to see everyone smiling and eating. "I would have never known," Colby said placing another piece of chicken in his mouth. "I'll keep that in mind," Mike said staring at me. "I have come to the point where I can be around people who are high and not need it. I might want it, but it's not overwhelming." I took a bite of my food. "Well actually I'm not technically sober, but I don't have a problem with drinking since I'm slightly allergic, so I could never drink too much.  I can have one or two but no more than that. I don't want to push it." I smiled a little. "I get it. But I doubt your drinking vodka straight." Sam said thinking. "No. I'm talking beer." "Ugh, how do you drink beer?" Corey looked at me in disgust. "I grew up country, my town didn't have any of that fancy shit. We had beer and moonshine. And moonshine is disgusting." I laughed a little thinking about the water hole by my old house. "One day I'm going to have to bring y'all back home with me."
