the zoom call

i'm noelle and i would be lying if i said i wasn't bored right now. it's 2am and i have nothing better to do than scroll my life away on instagram, if it weren't for the corona virus i would be on a plane on my way to california with my best friends right now. as i refresh my page i see that noah schnapp posted on his story it said, "zoom in 20 minutes" i decided to pull out my laptop just in case and go onto the zoom website. to pass the 20 minutes i scrolled on tik tok.

20 minutes later

i go back onto instagram and refresh my page until i see noah post again, he posted the code i as fast as i can type in the code and password and made it in the waiting room. i was super excited to be able to talk to the noah schnapp. i went back onto tik tok until noah let me in and i didn't even notice he did
"hello, is anyone there" i hear noah say
"hi it's such a pleasure to meet you i'm noelle" i say as calmly as i can even though i was freaking out
"wow that's the calmest response i've heard in the past 2 hours" noah says laughing
"i try, figured you have enough people freaking out, but you're just a normal human being who doesn't deserve to be treated like an alien or something" i say without really thinking
"wow you get me" noah says scratching his neck
"well you're the last one here so i can honestly talk to you for as long as you want" noah says with a smile
"bet" i say returning the smile
noah and i talk for what seems like seconds, he's just such an easy person to talk to
"ok so this decides if we keep talking or not" noah says with a little laugh
"who's your favorite character from stranger things" noah says trying not to laugh
"oh definitely will, just because of the bowl cut though" i say sarcastically
"oh god not the bowl cut" noah says
i check the time
"oh god it's 6am" i say shocked
"wow we've been talking for a while" noah says
i nod
"um maybe we can like stay in touch or something" noah suggests
"sure what are you thinking snap, instagram, tik tok, roblox?" i didn't say messages worrying that would come off as too much
"i guess all of those would work" noah says shrugging
"ok my snap, insta and tik tok are all noellemiller and my roblox is miller2005" i say
"ok cool see ya later" noah says smiling and waving
"bye schnapp" i say
"wait have you ever realized you could call yourself el like eleven that's pretty cool if you ask me" noah says
"oh i do eleven actually stole the nickname from me" i laugh
"wow gotta tell the duffers how unoriginal they are" noah says
"yeah" i say laughing
"well tonight was really fun" i say
"yes it was bye again el" noah says
"bye schnapp" i say

i left the call that was crazy but there's probably no way noahs gonna follow me or so i thought
