noah wakes me up early to leave for our flight. the cast exchanged gifts with each other last night since we wouldn't be together on christmas day. noah said my gift would wait until we're at his house. we did all the boring flight stuff. we landed and went to the front area to meet with the schnapp family i greeted them and caught up with chloe, so did noah. we then drove to his house and as i walk in riley and spaghetti run over to noah and i since they haven't seen us in a while. it was good to be back here it was my home away from home.
"tonight's christmas eve are you excited sweetie" mrs schnapp asks me
"yeah i'm really excited, and i'm so glad i get to spend it with all of you"
"noelle remember if you need anyone to talk to about your parents you can always talk to us" she says frowning i frown too at the mention of them
"i haven't really talked about it to anyone if i'm being honest. i just miss them that's all. this happens basically every year. i don't really remember the last christmas we had all together they're just always so caught up in work."
mrs schnapp hugs me
"i'm so sorry sweetheart, you're always welcome here and i hope noah lets you know that"
"oh he does" i laugh
i hug her
"thank you"
"anytime noelle"
i stand up and go take a shower. afterwards i find noah in his room talking to chloe.
"hey guys"
"hi noelle" they both say
"so are you guys getting ready"
"yeah dinner is normally at 6 and then we have some dessert then we open christmas eve gifts and just have family time" noah says
"then we all watch a christmas movie and go to bed afterwards in our matching pajamas that we get before we watch the movie, and when we all wake up we take a family photo and open more gifts" chloe adds on
"wow that sounds so perfect" i say
"yeah it's my favorite time of year"chloe says
"and now you're here so it's better" noah adds on and i smile
we all get dressed and head down to dinner we say some prayers and eat and enjoy being together. after we're done eating, mr schnapp brings out a cake that looked like a christmas tree we all had a slice.
"ok guys come on now it's time for the fun part" noah says walking over to the gifts i expected i wouldn't get anything since i came in such short notice, i also wasn't related to them so it wouldn't be fair for them to spend money on me. everyone gets their gifts. of course i got gifts for noah and i had to buy something quickly for chloe and his parents at the airport i made noah a photo collage of us. he went to open it and i was super excited he absolutely loved it i loved seeing him this happy
"oh my gosh noelle this is amazing i love it" he says and i hug him
at the airport i got chloe some perfumes and beauty stuff she really liked it. then i got their parents some coffee and mugs which they really appreciated. once everyone gave gifts chloe came up to me with a box
"this is from me and my parents" chloe says smiling
"oh you guys didn't have too" i say
"open it" mrs schnapp says smiling
i open it and see it's a big thing of gogo squeez
"oh my god i love this" i say laughing and smiling and hug them they all walk to the kitchen with the dogs
"noelle" noah says and i turn to him he hands me a small box i open it and see a gorgeous ring i open my mouth shocked
"it's a promise ring, i promise to you that i'll never leave you or hurt you. i promise that i'll be your best friend forever and i promise i will be the best boyfriend i can be to you"
"noah this is gorgeous, wait no this was probably expensive you shouldn't have spent money on me"
"don't worry noodle it's okay" he hugs me and i realize that it was okay. that i was okay, noah was my family now he was here when my parents weren't.
"noah i love you" i look into his eyes
"i love you too noelle" he smiles and i kiss him
we go join everyone in the kitchen, we play some board games and then mr schnapp eventually brings out the matching pajamas. i saw that there was one for me. i smiled i felt wanted and it felt good. we all changed into our pajamas sat down on the couch and watched elf. a quarter into the movie noah pretended to yawn and rests his arm around me
"very sneaky noah" i whisper into his ear and i lie my head on his chest and he laughs. once we finish watching the movie we all head upstairs to bed
"hey i'll be right back i gotta go ask chloe something" noah says
"ok cool" i say

noahs pov
i walk into chloes room
"she said she loves me" i say smiling and blushing really hard
"you said it back right" chloe asks
"yup no hesitation i love her so much"
"i'm so happy for you guys, i can't wait until you get married so she can be my sister in law"
i laugh and walk out the room after i say goodnight to her. i walk into my room to see noelle asleep.
"you're asleep so i'm basically talking to myself but i'm so glad you said you love me, i probably would've never built up the courage by myself. i basically loved you the day you first came to my house. i didn't know it yet but i remember after you fell asleep i sat there and realized that you were everything i ever wanted in a girl and now looking back i realize that's when i knew i loved you"
noelle sits up and i sit there shocked
"you do realize i was awake that whole time stupid" she laughs
"but i realized i loved you when you asked me out and i knew i did. i remember getting it on video you said "you me tonight 7" and as i watched the recording i realized i loved you" she smiles and i smile back. i then kiss her. we both go to sleep with huge smiles on our faces
