"Hope" one of my father men came into my room "Mr Hossler is waiting for you."
"Thanks" I give him a faint smile before making my way down the steps and into the meeting room.
"Hope" Jaden spoke the moment I entered the room
I hood out my hand to stop him from talking anymore. "Just get to the point."
"It's been a month and you've done nothing. We agreed to help you but when is this plan of yours gonna take action?"
"I'm sorry" I laughed in his face "I must be hearing wrong but are you questioning me?"
He gives me a nod and crosses his arms "Yes. You're a teenage girl who knows nothing about what is going on."
"Listen Hossler" I leaned closer to the table "We don't need you at the moment. Your skills are useless to me. So when I need someone to sleep with the enemy I'll give you a call, okay?"
Jadens face showed he was taken back by my sudden smart comment. I haven't made any smart comments in awhile.
"Tell me the plan or you won't get my help at all." He leans forward as if he's in charge.
"You would dare to have me as an enemy?" I narrowed my eyes "Could you really kill me is the real question."
He stayed silent and that was the answer. He can't. No matter how hard he wants to, I know he can't.
"My point exactly. So how about we end this meeting early and I'll call when I need you. Okay?"
"Wait" he stops me before I can fully leave the room. "What about the guy in my basement?"
I turned to him confused "What guy in your basement?"
"Well don't think I'm weird when I say this. The day that man attacked you I was following you and when he ran away from you, I happened to run into him." He paused "So I may or may not have captured him"
"You're just now telling me this?" My eyes widen and my tone goes deeper "Are you fucking serious?"
"A lot has happened. It slipped my mind"
I roll my eyes and check the time "Have him sent over here will ya?"
"No." Jaden answers "He doesn't leave my place. If you wanna discuss with him you come to him."
I check my watch again. I whisper for one of my men and tell him to cancel my next meeting.
"Whatever. Let's go."
I follow Jaden out to his car. I get in the backseat instead of the front to keep greater distance.
We arrived at Jadens. His men bowed as I entered and walked past him. The door opened and we walked down this long staircase to the basement.
"If it isn't Hope Petrova" the man slowly lifted his head up as I revealed myself in the gate.
"One and only" Jaden unlocked the bell.
