"This is so unfair! Why does Hobi always get more people!" Jin yelled. 

"It's not unfair! They are sorted and sent where they belong!" Hobi yelled back. 

RM rubbed his temples as he leaned back in his chair. He really couldn't deal with these two. And he always did because if they got into a real fight they could potentially rip all four realms apart. So here he was keeping the peace... How'd he get stuck with this job again? Two...  thousand something years ago...

"RM!" Jin snapped his fingers in front of the purgatory ruler. "Do you have an explanation?" 

RM groaned rolling his eyes. "I told you, my workers review actions that happened in a person's life and decide if a person should go to heaven or hell. I am not biased. My workers are not biased. People just aren't that great anymore." 

Jin groaned as well. "Ugh, why'd I even go for this job... I would've been happy as an archangel. But noooo."

"You went for this job because you liked getting to boss people around..." RM muttered under his breath. 

"That's beside the point..." Jin waved RM off. "And angels fall! It happens frequently enough for humans to make costumes! Ever heard of a demon rising? NOOOOOOOOOOO!" 

"Only the bottom three tiers of angels can fall! And the whole tier system you have is ridiculous anyway! In hell, you are a demon. Period. No angels then archangels then principalities and then whatever comes after that... Blah blah blah, seriously who cares enough to keep track of all that?" Hobi crossed his arms and rolled his eyes.

Jin gasped and placed a hand on his chest in offense. "I care! The original God cared! And sure everyone is a demon in hell! BESIDES YOU! Just you above everyone!" He fired back. 

"Oh don't even try to pretend like you care about the original God! And yeah sure I'm not a demon but like- What am I exactly?" Hobi asked gesturing to himself. 

Jin scoffed again as RM sunk deeper into his chair. "If you are going to accuse me of not caring about the 'original God' how's your relationship with Lucifer?" 

"I WOULDN'T KNOW HE KINDA BURST INTO A BLACK HOLE THAT'S SLOWLY DESTROYING THE UNIVERSE AS WE KNOW IT!" 

"THE MORTAL UNIVERSE, IT WON'T AFFECT US!" 

"HOW ARE WE SO SURE? IF IT KILLS ALL THE HUMANS THEN WE ARE ALL OUT OF A JOB!"

"THIS ISN'T EVEN A JOB THIS IS OUR LIVES!" 

RM was sure if he could die he would be having visions of his own death right now. How long does he have to put up with this? What... is life? What is death? Death is the absence of life... But you don't die because your soul lives on. Does he have a soul... Does death have a soul? Do Hobi and Jin have souls? They are gods... And before that? What... Angels... Demons... And before that? Humans... Was he a human at some point? Maybe? And what were gods? God of Heaven, God of Hell, God of Death... Celestial beings so some sort? Powerful entities that landed there by luck? 

"RM! RM! RM! HEY! RM!" Jin said snapping his fingers. "Pay attention and stop having an existential crisis." 

"I am paying attention." RM defended. "I am... Totallyyyyy paying attention." 

"Then what did I just say?" 

"I'm sure it was some petty remark to Hobi."

Hobi chuckled as Jin let out another loud gasp. Jin huffed. "All I want is more people sent MY way instead of Hobi's way."
