(Authors note! Hi new chap and thank u for reading this, it really does mean a lot!)

"DO I LOOK LIKE A LESBIAN?" Crystals voice rang down the line to her friend Widow from back in Missouri, confusion lacing her tone as their deep chuckle echoed up into Crystals ear "no update on how your first day of school was? Just straight into being gay?" Widow questions, feeling amused by Crystals witty first words of the phone call "it was okay I made a new friend... but that's not important- do I look like a lesbian?" She asked once again, repeating her words from minutes before.

"Yes."

"WHAT..? I do?"

"Yes."

"HOW?" Crystal exclaimed down the phone, almost shouting down the phone line.

"Crystal... baby... you have a mullet, you are a stoner, you constantly wear flannels and your clothes never match" Widow stated calmly, as if it was the most obvious thing ever that Crystal was a raging homosexual, not even a second thought put towards the idea, just a simple 'yes'. "Okay fair enough..." Crystal sighed in defeat, not feeling like fighting her about it as she flopped her body onto her bed as her eyes scanned the perfectly wrote numbers on her arm, they were wrote surprisingly well.

Why did you want to know anyway?.. is Los Angeles not like token for gay people now?" Widow asked Crystal as the girls fingers twirled on the small line attached to the phone "This girl... invited me to her house.." and as soon as those words were said it was widows turn to scream down the phone line "GIRL WHAT? YOU ARE GETTING HOO HAA ON THE FIRST DAY?" she said excitedly, Crystal shook her head in disbelief "I told you to stop saying hoo haa... it is so... eugh!" Her hands softly fumbled through her mullet as she spoke "but she told me to call her and I'll come to her house later... but I don't think she knows I'm a whole lesbian and what if I tell her and she thinks I'm coming on to her.." Crystal rambled our, her words coming out rushed as Widow snickered down the phone line "Girl... ain't one person not know you are gay... I promise you.." she said softly "Shit... I gotta go Cris' my moms calling me down to try her new breadrolls, call me later and update me on your new lady friend.." she said before hanging up the phone... leaving Crystal with no actual constructive criticism whatsoever.

Crystal did end up calling Gigi, who then proceeded to give her address and told her to be at her house for 5pm. The call wasn't awkward it was just less small talk and more facts, but Crystal just assumed that's how Gigi always was.

Crystals mom was fine with her going out, she definitely wasn't the strictest parent, she just always said the same line "don't do heroin... and be back by eleven" and Crystal always stuck by those words, so her mom didn't see an issue with it, she definitely could set more boundaries but she trusted her daughter enough to know that she knew how to handle herself- she's been extroverted her whole life, it wasn't going to change now that they moved to a different place.

Crystal arrived to Gigi's house at 5pm, just like the blonde girl had asked her to. And Crystal swore she had never seen anything more fitting to Gigi's personality than this house, the walls were tall and painted white- the exterior of it being so incredibly modern that Crystal didn't even want to begin thinking about the price points for this house. The outside garden had small portions of grass that were covered in fully bloomed pink Azalea flowers, the house was undoubtedly gorgeous- but Crystal didn't expect anything less; it was associated with Gigi, of course it was gorgeous.

Crystals nerves caught on just as her hand began knocking the door- she was about to go into this girls house, and sit in her room with her- doing god knows what. But they would still be in a room together, by themselves, and the thoughts that ran through the socially awkward girls head would probably be better left unsaid.
