Eyes

28 4 8

Don't try to lie
You see,
It's all in the eyes.

Desperation and need,
Before it takes you to your knees

Anger and lust
Try and hide it if you must

Obedience and pain,
Don't pretend you're tame.

Hunger and thirst,
I even see which one came first

Sting and betrayal,
Let me help the hurt set and sail

Jealousy and greed,
I see it as easily as you bleed

Love and desire,
Baby I can see the fire

You try to protect yourself with lies.
But you see,
It's all in the eyes.
