Enlightenment

My truth is ugly but it's there

Stop listening to pretty lies,
I'll give you honesty and be fair

I'll make you work harder
And push through the rough

Because you wanna reach the magic
But the climb up is tough

Nothing so beautiful will fall into your hands
You gotta work up a sweat and push against those bands

Did you think it would be easy,
Did you think it would be free?

To feel that enlightenment right alongside me.

I'll be your needed slave driver,
Whip the skin on your back

Have you crawl slowly as you beg for my attack

Because you want it fast and you want it quick

You're treating this power as though it'll be a sweet kick

I'm telling you now to listen to my sound,
Stop jumping so high or I'll slam you back to the ground

Follow my footsteps and follow them well.

I'll lead you into the heaven situated in hell.
