Don't seek, live for, or aim for anything but the approval of Christ. Don't glory in your spiritual successes, and lean back as though you've attained. Rather, give the Lord His rightful exultation and press on, and press forward.
Exodus 12
The Passover is a foreshadowing of Jesus' sacrifice for us. Jesus is the Passover Lamb. "It is finished." No longer does this ordinance take place, for Christ is enough. The Blood is the remission of sins, we stand now covered in the blood and righteousness of Christ Jesus. Stay under the blood, lest the destroyer destroy you.
Jeremiah 39
God won't abandon His people. He may even send kindness in time of trouble. The Lord rewards those who trust in Him.
Lamentations 3
Recall God's mercy. His mercies are new every day, each morning, each breath another chance to repent! He is merciful and ready to forgive. He is forever faithful. Hop in Him. He is a rewarder of the one who hopes and seeks Him diligently. The Lord is good! Repent and seek the Lord. He's waiting. He hears. he is our Great Redeemer.
Titus 2
Don't talk foolishness. Be holy, don't accuse, don't be drunk, teach what is good. Love your husband and your children. Keep your home. Be sincere. Give the enemy nothing to accuse you of. Don't backtalk. Don't be a thief. Don't waste. Forsake sin, live soberly, righteously, godly, looking unto Jesus, living a life of holiness which is pleasing unto God.
