Seek the Lord first. Make sure your priorities are in line. Strive to keep God first and foremost.
Leviticus 9
Draw near and stand before the Lord. Don't cower and hide. Let Him search you. Uproot any wickedness! When we do as the Lord commands, He will accept and visit us. Take care not to irreverence the Lord Jesus Christ.
Hebrews 2
Make your calling and election sure. Watch against leaving your First Love. Watch against laziness. How shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, so majestically and freely offered to us?
The Lord in His wisdom appoints gifts as He sees fit.
The Lord Jesus willingly suffered death for every man, taking upon the nature of flesh. He is the Captain of our salvation. He is not ashamed of His children. Sing praises for His excellent kindness is great, trust in Him. Through His death, He destroyed death and the devil, delivering those fearful of death from this lifelong bondage. He is merciful and faithful, reconciling us to Himself, our High Priest. He went through all we've gone through, so He understands and will succor us when we are tempted.
