Chapter Twenty Two

"Thank you..."

He smiled at me and looked at the sorroundings.

"Hindi ka pupunta sa booksigning?" I rolled my eyes and laughed. "What do you think?"

He seemed thinking but he's just literally smirking while looking at me. His hand was on his chin.

"Sabagay, wala kang libro," Seeing him embarassing me while smirking wasn't good. Natatawa ako sa itsura niya dahil yung mata niya paliit na ng paliit. I looked away and bit my lower lip.

"I'll rather swimming than talking to you."

I replied and trying not to put a smile on my face. I put my phone, the flower he gave, and my towel on the available lounge chair I saw and sat.

"Can you put a lotion at my back?" I asked while giving the lotion at him. He just looked at me and in the lotion before his gaze went to the people around. Umubo pa siya ng unti.

"Wala ka bang kamay?" I almost throw the lotion at him but I just laughed and smiled.

"Bilis na, hindi ko abot." He let out a breath before picking up the lotion I'm handing. Inilapag niya din ang camera niya sa tabi ng towel ko. Tumalikod ako sakanya para malagyan niya ng maayos yung likod ko. Naririnig ko pa siyang bumubuntong-hininga habang binubuksan yung lotion.

"Sabihin mo kung ayaw mo," I chuckled before I put my hair sideways. He didn't replied but he started to put a lotion at my back. I amost flinched when his hand touched my skin. I think my cheeks hit up to when I felt his hands continues to roam around my back. I gulped before composing myself to talk.

"O-kay na ba?" I heard he close the bottle of lotion kaya umayos na ako ng upo at humarap sakanya. Inilagay ko na din sa harap yung buhok ko at inayos ang bangs ko. "Thank you...."

"Thank you for making me uncomfortable." he replied,

I just smiled shyly and walked to the water. I saw his looks followed me pero hindi ko na lang siya pinansin at nagsimulang maglangoy. The water was cold.

I saw him sitting at the lounge chair while looking at his camera. I'm sure he'll take photos again. Things he always do because he love doing that. I really hope that someday he will be a sought photographer in town..

"You wasn't able to reply on my texts e nase-seen mo naman! Saan ka ba nagsususuot?"

Xia smiled shyly at tinaas ang paa niya. She's here in my casita, nagulat ako nang bigla siyang dumating saktong kagigising ko lang kasi inantok ako sa pagswimming kanina.

"May errands lang," I looked at her with a questionable look. Ngumiti siya at pumunta sa kama ko para humiga. Sinakop niya ng buo 'yon habang nakataas ang paa.

"Errands daw..." Tinawanan niya ako bago ako hagisan ng unan. "Errands nga"

It looks like wala siyang balak mag open about sa lovelife niya kaya hindi ko na siya kinulit. I went to bathroom para maghilamos and toothbrush saglit pero pagbalik ko andon na din Chescka sa kama ko. Nakangiti sila pareho sa'kin habang ako gulat na gulat.

"Chescka!!!" I went to hug her. Natumba pa kami sa kama kaya dinaganan pa kami ni Xia. "Xianna! Alis!"

Sigaw na ng sigaw ni Chescka kay Xia pero tawa lang ng tawa ang bruha. Natawa na lang din ako.

Ngayon ko lang din narealize na pareho silang nakaayos at nakaporma. Xia's wearing a jumper only a tube underneath and sneakers. She really look like boyish type of girl tapos yung buhok pa niya naka messy bun. While Chescka on the other hand, wearing a pink dress above the knee, a dollshoes and her loose hair. Napaka prim niyang tingnan.
