Chapter Twenty Three

I'm wearing a jersey top with my denim jacket partnered with a black wrap skirt and my silver sandals. I bun my hair and let my bangs together and put make-up. As usual, I had to do a glam make-up when it comes to clubbing. Whenever I go to bar, there is one thing I want to achieve, my looks.

I glanced at the mirror for the last time after I got my black clutch bag at the table and went out. It's 8 P.M. in the evening kaya maaga pa naman. I already texted Tyler or either Xia and Chescka na 'wag na ako sunduin dahil sasakay na lang ako sa golf cart papunta sa mini bar ng resort na 'to.

There, I saw them waiting me outside the bar. I parked the golf cart and went at them.

"Kanina pa kayo?" Tyler nodded.

He's wearing a white tee with brown leather jacket, a fitted trousers and his sneakers. May suot din siyang watch and necklace na hindi ko alam pero nagpalakas lalo sa appeal niya. Hindi niya dala ang camera niya ngayon.

"Ang tagal mo! Tara na excited na 'ko!" Xia

"Is this your first time?" I asked sarcastically at her. She shook her head at me and laughed.

Chescka's wearing a floral black dress na medyo backless ng unti. Si Xia nakatube and pants tapos her sneakers. Gosh, she looks nice eventhough medyo boyish niyang tingnan. Nakalugay lang din ang buhok niya.

We entered the bar and to my surprised, there were a lot of people in the middle! Halos magkagulo na sila doon kaya inakit kami ni Tyler sa gilid para makahanap ng table.

"Ganito pala dito? Overcrowded!" Sabi ni Xia habang lumilingon sa paligid. Parang hindi pa siya nakakapunta dito e. Tinatawanan siya ni Chescka kapag nagkukunyari siyang first-timer.

Hindi naman ganito ka-crowded when I went here before, bakit ngayon parang may event na ewan sa dami ng tao?

We chose to sat at the right side of the bar, a round table with a couch. Maganda dahil hindi masyado pansin dito. I just want to taste alcohol, ayoko mag-engage sa mga tao.

Dalawang couch 'yon so magkatapatan kaming apat. Katabi ko si Tyler pero nasa magkabilang dulo kami.

Tyler ordered two bottle of alcohol, hindi ko na inalam kung anong brand 'yon. Basta naglagay na lang ako ng ice at sinalinan yung baso ko. Tyler looked at me when I did that.

"Don't drink too much," I smiled.

"Let's see," I heard him sighed kaya natawa na lang ako at tinaas pa ang baso para makipag-cheers sakanya.

"Bakit parang ang daming tao ngayon 'no? The last time I went here hindi naman." Sabay tingin ko kay Tyler nang may maalala ako kaya agad akong umiwas ng tingin. The last time I went here, I kissed him. Gosh.

"Baka naman may event." Mahinang sabi ni Chescka na hindi ko narinig dahil sa lakas ng music kaya tumango na lang ako. Kinausap naman siya ni Xia.

I looked at Tyler who's silently drinking while his hand was on the couch. Nakatingin lang siya sa crowd kaya tinaas ko ang paa ko at pinangpalo sa binti niya.

"Hala gago!" I laughed at his reaction. Naalala ko tuloy yung nahulog ang phone niya, ganon din reaction niya. He glared at me and sighed.

"Anong meron starbucks?"

"Wala tenderjuicy," I smirked before I raised my glass again. Sinamaan niya lang ako ng tingin.

I put another alcohol in my glass. I think it's my 6th glass. Xia and Chescka are now dancing like crazy in the crowd malapit lang din sa'min. Iniilingan na lang sila ni Tyler at tinatawanan.
