"I'm in love with a boy."

Ella, Chaeyoung's little sister and undeniable love of her life forever and ever—the last part strictly said by the little girl herself—comes barging into the living room with her hands swinging and tone joyous.

Chaeyoung, who's sprawled across the couch with a migraine, casts a glance at her sister and rolls her eyes lightly.

"What's his name?"

Ella sits cross-legged on the coffee table and Chaeyoung too irritated to care.

"His name is Alex and he's so, so, so cute."

"What's so cute about him?"

"He is the best colorer in the whole class, and he let's me eat his chips when he doesn't want anymore. He's perfect."

"I'm happy for you, El."

"Have you loved a boy?"

"I love dad a lot, you know that."

Ella giggles cutely. "No silly! Dad isn't a boy he's a dad."

"I've never loved a boy, then."

"You've never been in love?"

Chaeyoung sighs into the couch cushions. Her head is pounding and she's feeling exceptionally vulnerable considering the events that transpired in her bedroom an hour ago. It's been such a long day and she can't believe any of it to be true yet.

"I have."

Ella stands from the coffee table with an excited look on her face. "With who?"

She seems so giddy about it and Chaeyoung wishes she was too.

"Someone."

Ella whines. "Who?" The younger girl prolongs the o and bounces in place.

"Someone."

"I'm telling mom!"

"She already knows."

Ella pouts.

"Do you know what you're gonna say?"

"Absolutely not."

"Lisa."

"Mina."

"I thought we talked about you getting your head out of your ass yesterday."

"Was that what we were talking about?"

The girl smacks the back of her head and rolls her eyes.

"Just go up to her and be like," Mina slouches, shoves her hands in her pockets and nods her head like she's a thug, "Hey, Chaeyoung, I love you. You see that sunset? Let's run towards it."

"Why would I want us to run toward the sun?"

Mina stomps, literally stomps, her foot in outrage. "It's supposed to be romantic."

"I don't talk or look like that, by the way."

"That's not the point! Why are you making this so much more difficult than it has to be?"

Lisa leans forward and rests her head against the inside of her locker, letting her groans and sighs vibrate against the metal walls.

Mina is watching her with unamused eyes, leaning against the locker to the left and shaking her head. She stands up straight when she sees the lady of the hour walking towards them to her own locker.

"Hey, Chaeyoung!"

The blonde looks at her strangely but quickly puts on a smile. Mina inwardly smirks.
