Lost and Found (Myself)

I'd like to lose myself—

In a huge bookstore—

Full of the smells of different books,

New and old—

I'd like to lose myself,

In your precious eyes, where—

I struggle to count the stars in them—

And confuse happiness for magic, glitter.

I'd like to lose myself,

In the thoughts of the infinite Universe,

In the magic of prayer and devotion,

In love—

I'd like to lose myself,

In carefree laughter—

Where I forget which century I am in,

Which time zone,

Which part of the solar system.

I want to lose myself in the magic of me.

But I also want to find myself,

In my own soul; when I look at the mirror—

When I look into my own eyes—

I want to find myself; ready to surprise the world!

I want to find myself in you—

When you care for me and make me feel loved,

I want to find myself in your care,

I want to find myself in the grand divine plans of the Universe!

I want to find myself in Nature,

How the raindrops brush aside my worries,

And the wind caresses my hair—

Telling me, 'You are loved...'

I want to find myself within me,

Deep in the core of my soul,

And then lose myself in this mystery—

Getting to know who 'I' really am—

I want to lose myself in the Universe,

May divine energies find me,

I want to be the most beautiful galaxy of the Universe,

Both fascination and mystery.
