There are far too many prefixes to list in the Land's Star, as most names-even kittypet names-are accepted. But generally anything within nature should work as a name.
On occasion though, there are some names that are not acceptable. Those names are:

-The Founders' Names: (Grass, Tree, Ocean, Mountain, and Marsh) are forbidden because they are considered sacred. Though discussions have been frequently brought up about changing this rule, thus far it has been denied. This is because the names are to be associated with the founding of the clans. Though some argue that it would be honorable for a cat to receive any of these names, so far it still seems far too taboo for anyone to try and use them

-Star-: It would be considered sacrilegious to give a cat the Star- prefix. Any cat with the name Star (say, a kittypet for example) must have their name changed before they are allowed to recieve a clan name. It is reserved as a suffix, but only for clan leaders to represent the lives that Starclan have given them.

-Dream: the word dream is not to be used as either a prefix or suffix due to dreams being seen as windows to the soul. They are highly valued especially by medicine cats. Plus it would seem a little silly to call a cat dream

-Any sort of twoleg thing- this should go without saying, but names like car-, bus- fence-, etc are forbidden because cats dont know what these things are. And even if they do why would a clan cat name their kits after such things? That would be like naming a cat Nestkit ot Littleden, its silly. The only exception to this are kittypets and even then its heavily encouraged for a cat with a weird name like this to change it

-Blood, bone, heart etc: these kinds of names go unused because of their context. Though these things do occur naturally in nature it is seen as wrong to name a kit after something like this. Organs, bones, and blood are all stuff that belongs inside of you and though warriors are used to seeing these things often (not only because of fighting but because of the food they eat), its still considered wrong. -heart as a suffix is the only exception because it represents courage, a strong will, and standing for what you believe in

Meanwhile, suffixes are another story. Suffixes in the Land's Star have special meanings to them. To earn a warrior/medicine cat name is a huge honor. New suffixes are added to the list on occasion.
