Arwen groaned as she opened her eyes, a sharp ache in her side. The room was hot and her hands were in some contraption. "Hello?!" She called out, her voice causing an echo. No answer.

Hours went by until a jingle came from the doors. "Who's there?" Arwen spoke, her voice raspy. "Arwen?" Rachel whispered as Arwen perked up and rushed over to Rachel. "Here..." Rachel mumbled unlocking the devices Arwens hands were in. "Who's this?" Arwen asked rubbing her wrists once they were free. "This is my mom. Now come on we need to find the others." Rachel said putting up her hood and leading Arwen and her mother through hallways.

They approached a metal door and walked in to see Gar locked in a cage in the middle of the room. "Rachel? Arwen?" He asked seeing the pair. "We are getting out of here." Arwen said as Rachel grabbed the keys to open the cage. "Who's that?" He asked seeing Rachel's mother. "Yea..." she said letting out a small chuckle. "Awesome." Gar breathed out. Arwen grabbed his clothes from a table beside the cage and handed it to him once Rachel got the door open.

"Hey!" A man shouted as he walked in. "Guys!" Rachel's mother yelled as the man tossed her to the side. "Mom!" Rachel screamed rushing towards her. "You're coming with me." The man hissed holding the long taser. Gar let out a roar as he jumped over Arwen and grabbed the man by the arm and tossing him back into the air. Arwen ran to Rachel and her mom while he attacked the worker, throwing him into the cage and biting him. Blood pooling beneath them.

He transformed back into his normal self and scooted into a corner, looking between the trio and the man he just murdered as he wiped the blood off his mouth. "I...I bit him..." Gar whimpered, his lip quivering and his eyes swelling with tears. "Gar we have to get the others..." Arwen sighed. He nodded and got dressed.

The group dashed down the dark halls and into a padded room where Lily laid curled up in a corner. "Lily!" Arwen whisper yelled as she ran to her. "What's going on?" Lily coughed. "We are getting out of here. Come on." Arwen smiled small as she helped the blonde up to her feet. Once Lily was back to normal they opened the door to the room Dick was in. He sat strapped to a chair in another padded room.

Gar and Rachel rushed to his side and undid the buckles that held his head, arms and ankles. "Come on." Rachel said as she undid the strap on his head. "What's wrong with him?" She asked as he stared off blankly, not responding. "They may have given him drugs." Lily said. "They may have broken him.." her mother said walking over. "They do that here?" Rachel asked in disbelief. "Dick..." She whispered as she poked him. "It's me. I need you to hear me! You are stronger than them. You are stronger than anyone I know! We need to get out of here but we can't do that without you..." she spoke, her voice shaking as tears formed in her eyes.

"You promised. You promised you'll never leave me. Never leave us..." she continued gently shaking his body as he stared at her with no emotion. "Yea...I guess I did." He said with a raspy voice and short smile. "Hallelujah." Lily quietly cheered as he sat up. They bursted into a dark medical lab where two "doctors" were operating on Kory. "Watch the doors!" Grayson shouted as he rushed over, alarms blaring. He knocked out the two doctors while Arwen and Gar ran over to untie Kory. Gar took out the tube in her mouth while she ripped off the tags on her body.

The group rushed through the hallways looking for the way out until a small group of guards blocked their path. "Stay where you are!" One shouted. Grayson ripped off a small pipe, "I got this." He huffed as he rushed towards the group. Yells came from both the guards and Grayson as he beat them in such brutal fashion, the guards piled on the ground. "I mean that works too." Lily shrugged as they walked towards him, stepping over the bodies. "Get out of here." He said making them quickly walk past.

The group made it out but noticed Kory was missing. "Wait wh-" a loud boom came from the building as flames devoured every inch of the large building. Out came Kory from the main doors, not a scratch left on her person. "Well jeez..." Arwen muttered as she watched Lily stomp on a piece of grass that caught fire.

"I smell food!" Lily yawned as she wandered into the kitchen where Rachel cooked and Gar was making coffee. "The noise..." Arwen groaned as she followed, a strange noise following her. "The hell was that?" Gar asked looking around. "Bubbles!" Lily awed as she lifted up the strange hybrid creature. "What is that?" Rachel asked looking at it strangely. "A weird clown fish ferret I created a long time ago for comfort I guess?" Arwen explained with a shrug.

Soon everyone was awake and sat at the table eating the breakfast Rachel had prepared. "Rachel has been telling me about your situation and about this..." her mom paused looking around. "Yea the owner didn't exactly give me permission." Grayson chuckled. "Well I may have a better option. I have a house in Ohio that has been in our generation for decades. We can all stay, there's more than enough room. It's the least I could do." She explained giving a warm smile to everyone.

"This could be like our secret base! Oh this is so cool." Gar trailed off causing everyone to laugh.

"So this is like the end of the team?" Gar asked as they followed Grayson out to the sidewalk. "We were never really a team." He laughed. "Oh we were a team." Lily scoffed crossing her arms. "I'll see you all again sometime." He nodded. "Rachel?" He asked as she looked down and away. "She'll be ok." Kory whispered taking him away from the teens. They watched as Kory spoke to him. Rachel ran up to him and gave him one final hug before they parted ways.

"This kinda sucks..."
