'chapter 2 ~ project'

so, it's the next day of school.. and we have this greeting project.
it's to get to know others better.
basically, you get partnered up with a random classmate and you have to get to know eachother.
its so dumb, honestly !
but, i guess it's an opportunity to make new friends ?
not that i need those anyway, i like doing things on my own usually.

i did my daily morning routine, put on an outfit, brushed my teeth, ate, etc, etc..
when it was 8am i put on my jacket and rode my bike to my school.
god, it feels so weird to board at such a top tier highschool,
but.. it's kinda cool too. im not complaining !
what i am complaining about, is the fact that big bird just pulled up.
why can't i stop noticing him ?? can't i just ignore him..

i decided that it was only natural to notice him. as he is very loud, and.. tall.
he also has a really loud motorcycle, so he definetly stands out..
i see my friend ari from yesterday, who was walking on the sidewalk to school.
she lives near the school, lucky.
i greet her and we both enter the school, laughing.

i saw y/n staring at me when i pulled up.
honestly, im not surprised. many girls, and boys, stare at me.
i guess im just that hot huh ?? im not complaining though, i like the attention i get !

today we have some dumb 'friendship' project at school.
i don't need to introduce myself to others, they already know who i am !
i entered the school building, feeling pretty confident, as always.
i got my black, untied airforces, my leather jacket and a hot pair of sunglasses.

immediately, i got noticed by many, ha !
i wonder where y/n is, though.. i'm kinda in the mood to beat someone up.
the school bell interrupted my thoughts. i confidently walked up the staircase to my class.

y/n pov:

i giggled to ari as we both walked up the stairs.
i wonder who my partner is gonna be for the project..
i hope ari, i dont wanna talk to some random loser ! that would be annoying..
i was brought back to earth from my thoughts by ari, who was waving her arm in front of me.

"hello ?? earth to y/n!"
i jumped up a little. not noticing that i had dozed off before.
"oh, sorry. i was just thinking about the school project". i excused myself.
ari gave me a look of 'it'll be fine', which felt quite reassuring.

we walked to our classroom and sat next to eachother in the back.
our teacher was seated at her desk, waiting for the second bell to ring, so she can start.
as the bell rang, she closed the door.

we were explained to how the project works, and why we're doing this.
i still think there's no valid reason for this, but okay.
after her really long speech, she assigned us the partners. this made me kinda nervous.
ari was assigned with.. elmo
oh god, i'm gonna be assigned with some other random person..

the teacher swiftly assigned people to their partners.
until there were only 2 left..
me and.. big bird.
