Chapter 6

It took Fatima and I a week to finish our assignment and I must say it was the best week of my life. I learnt a lot from her, I got to know more about her like she hates eating her bread with egg she finds it disgusting weird right and she is in love with drake and chocolate Ice cream. To crown it all she finally gave me her number.

"So it's my birthday this weekend and I hope you will be able to come" Fatima said

"Sure I will just text me your address and can I come with Mathew" I asked her excited

"Of course you can I will introduce you to my brother he goes to a different school from ours"She said

" That will be great I'll see you on Saturday then"I told her when picking up my bag to leave.

I got home, called Mathew to inform him of our outing and he was also very happy he actually said he would flood his Instagram page on that day, like who wouldn't an invite to Alhaji Usman's daughter birthday party and an entry into his mansion this is huge.
I went to the dinning to have dinner and I met my mum and sister already seated.

" My son how is school lately?we sure haven't spoken about school in a while"she said while I seated on the chair

"Everything is fine mum I'm not really finding anything difficult my teachers are really helpful" I told her

"That's good and how about you Leila" She asked

"School is okay I still hate maths though" Leila angrily said

"You shouldn't and your brother is here to help you, so always meet him to help you out" Mum said

"I will" then Leila looked at me and stuck her tongue out.

As expected I thought

"So mum I got invited to the Usman's mansion for Fatima's birthday party" I told her excitedly.

"Oh wow that's nice and I can see you and Fatima are becoming close" she teased

"He has a crush on her and please can I go with you"Leila pleaded

" No Mathew is" I told her

"Worst big brother ever" She said

"Who cares".

I had dinner, then took a shower by 9:30 I was prepared to sleep but then a thought came to my head, I picked up my phone and sent Fatima a message via WhatsApp.

I hope she replies.
